5. Course Objectives:

The course helps students understand and analyze the role of technology and enterprise capabilities in the innovation process and evaluate the role of cooperation and networking in improving the technological capabilities of enterprises. Students will be able to apply knowledge to analyze changing trends in R&D activities in the context of enterprises. Ability to understand and evaluate the role of information and technology transfer in the innovation process of enterprises. The module helps students to understand and analyze the role of technology and business capacity when implementing the innovation process, evaluate the role of cooperation and linkage networks in improving the technological capacity of enterprises. Students will be able to apply their knowledge to analyse the changing trends of R&D activities in a corporate context. Ability to understand and evaluate the role of information and technology transfer in the innovation process of enterprises.

6. Brief Description of Course Content:

The module provides basic and in-depth knowledge of innovation and technology management in enterprises. Students will have access to topics around the role of technology in creating competitive advantages, how to form and exploit core competencies, as well as the process of transforming knowledge and technology into practical solutions. The module also focuses on the analysis of technology cooperation strategies between businesses through strategic alliances, partner networks and research and development (R&D) forms. Students will be equipped with knowledge about the process of technology transfer, also known as knowledge transfer. Through hands-on case studies, the module helps students understand the connection between innovation, technological cooperation and business strategy.
