6. Brief Description of Course Content:
In this module, students will work in groups to solve real or simulated problems on interdisciplinary topics (e.g. social innovation, technology applications in education, digital media for sustainable development, etc.). Students will be introduced to approaches from many fields, combining research, teamwork, reflective practice, presentation and criticism of results.
The course content includes:
● Foundations of interdisciplinary thinking and knowledge integration
● Analytical tools from different fields (e.g. empathy map, stakeholder analysis, data dashboard, business model, design thinking)
● Interdisciplinary group projects
● Communication skills - working in a multidisciplinary environment
