Here at RMIC, we believe in the collective power of teamwork. What drives us individually is the fire that ignites the force that propels the entire team forward.

 

RMIC was built on the basis of reliability, meaningfulness, introspective and culture. Our team consists of individuals from all walks of life, with a wide range of experience, expertise, backgrounds and upbringing. Yet by some miracle, UEH is where we all call home.

 

All things considered, we consider ourselves to be extraordinarily fortunate to have each other to lean on during the past trying months. Though it’s only been 4 months into the new year, we could proudly say that one of our highlights of the year is undoubtedly our Team Building trip to Phu Quoc earlier in January. The trip marked an important milestone for RMIC as the 3-day excursion allowed us quiet moments to reflect upon our past achievements, set new goals for the new era, and most importantly, strengthen our bond as a united RMIC family.

 

Organized by yours truly, our stay on this lovely offshore island was filled with laughters, great foods, and especially fun bonding activities. The department was split into 3 teams, and were later shuffled rapidly through a series of infamous challenges, such as the “Marshmallow Challenge”, “Pictionary” and “Cup Ballet” -- all of which were designed to test our agility, active listening and coordination skills. Two hours allotted for the activities came and went, but what stayed was our increased sense of awareness and understanding for each other. We returned to work with a refreshed spirit and more eager to take on new challenges than ever before.

 

Work can be tiring. Life can be hard. But as long as we have each other’s backs, nothing is impossible, because as Becka Schoettle says, “Together, even ordinary people can achieve extraordinary results”.
