This course will discuss research, fundamental theories of the management of public and non-profit organizations, and identifying challenges faced by organizations implementing public goals. It will not only focus on traditional public sector organizations, government funding offices and public service agencies directly, but will also consider other organizations operating in the public sector (e.g., non-profits, private companies according to the contract). The course first discusses the organizational factors and ways to understand and evaluate an organization.
