“DIGITAL MOVE” project aims at implementing Digital transformation within Mongolian and Vietnamese universities through innovative teaching and learning methods and an active engagement with external stakeholders. Taking into account that Digital transformation is a “series of deep and coordinated culture, workforce, and technology shirts”, the DIGITAL MOVE project addresses Digital transformation at four levels: institutional, processes, individuals, and communities.
The project is funded by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) through the Erasmus+ program, with the participation of 13 partners, including 07 Vietnamese, 04 Mongolian, 02 French and Slovak universities, in which, CITI University (Mongolia) is the Project Coordinator.
As a member, UEH takes part in all activities listed under the 6 work packages (WP) of the Project, which includes:
WP1. Project Management and Quality Assurance
WP2. Establishing a Digital Culture and Infrastructure at HEIs
WP3. Enhancing the Mission of HEIs through Digital Transformation
WP4. Enhancing Digital Soft Skills for Faculty, Students, and Lifelong Learners
WP5. Networking and Connectivity
WP6. Dissemination and Exploitation of Results
Some key outcomes of the project are as follows: 06 universities in Vietnam and 4 universities in Mongolia have improved digital transformation capacity; 10 subjects on digital transformation for undergraduate students and 06 subjects for graduate students in the field of digital transformation have been updated and revised for teaching. There will be 400 turns of students, 100 turns of lecturers, 100 turns of officials, and 30 turns of leaders and managers trained in digital transformation at higher education institutions; 2 digital events will be held in Vietnam and Mongolia; 01 guiding document to promote digital transformation, 01 document on teaching/learning methods in the digital environment at higher education institutions (handbook) and 01 policy report on digital transformation will be published in 2 languages, Vietnamese and Mongolian versions.
