Foreign Trade

The International Business Program, Specialization on Foreign Trade – Advanced in English course provide a training program which combine international business and focus on foreign trade field. From the global business expansion as consequences of globalization, this program is well-balanced to develop knowledge, skill and practices in international trade and business sector. Especially, students will have opportunities to study and use English during learning process. Upon completion of the program, graduates are fluent in foreign languages, working at organizations with international business activities, especially multinational corporations, import-export enterprises, banks, logistics enterprises as well as Governmental Organization which have related scope. Furthermore, students are trained with a high sense of responsibility, ethics, a sense of responsibility to the organization and society, and the lifelong learning mindset.

Successfully passed the National High School Exam plus entrance policies of UEH; and English entry requirement IELTS 5.0 or equivalent.

  • Apply information technology knowledge, achieve IC3 certificate and ERP to apply in foreign trade management and business analytics.

  • Import-export overall management, signpost relevant and potential products and services, evaluate reliable and reasonable suppliers, procurement management for firms, synthesize and collect data to report to upper level, tasks delegation for lower level, and negotiation outbound and inbound.

  • International trade consultants provide statistiscal analysis, forecasts related to international trade issue and investment opportunities. Most of international trade consultants proceed all related documents to advise firms that they are representative

  • Orders processing (oder-intake, coordination, resources allocation, cross-check information according to each order); logistics-relevant tasks; update real-time regulations and innovative solution in order to complete the tasks.

  • Negotiate contracts with customers, perform customer service (during and after sale), customer relationship management, seek potential customers who have the following needs: customs declaration, import-export documents, transportation costs and frieghts, participate in transportation contracts negotiation, advise related-solution for customer, contact shipping company for freight rate, answer all inquiries from customers, partners and suppliers.

Bank: Managerial level 

  • Manage: foreign exchange trading, listing firms’ activities, market-driven strategy, internal and external relationship management, plan and allocate resources for activities related to exchange.

Bank: Teller/Credit Executive

  • Perform exchange-related activities, consult documents and solutions for customers to conduct exchange activities, expand the customer base, research and collect data to analyse  current situation to reach effectiven solutions
