“Students are to receive excellent care at University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City”

“Caring is Sharing – We are CS Team” is the first activation workshop that UEH has put together, in addition to a series of events, so as to promote further student and customer care services at the university in hopes of elevating UEH’s academic reputation and enhancing student affairs capabilities across various departments and campuses of the university

The event welcomed Prof. Nguyen Dong Phong – President of UEH and 100 other students from various UEH Departments and Affiliated Institutions.

In his keynote speech, Prof. Nguyen Dong Phong asked that all UEH personnel and departments provide the same amount of quality, efficient and professional care to any and all students. He also wanted to place his emphasis on the importance of supporting learners with great dedication and consideration through practical applications of proposed practices, so as to bring about positive feedback and outcome for each department and the university as a whole. On top of that, this workshop lays an important foundation for the continuation of the upcoming series titled “The Journey of Caring for Students”

The focus of the event revolved around two main topics: Body Language, facilitated by Naomi Truong (aka Truong Thi Minh Thuy), CEO of Fyoung Dance & CEO Body Talk, and Cultural & Behavioral Communication, led by Huynh Thi Xuan Lien – Member of Board of Management – PNJ Joint Stock Company.

Naomi Truong – CEO of Fyoung Dance & CEO Body Talk – discussed different types of appropriate body language, how to find harmony between body and mind to achieve positive energy, as well as elegant postures, breathing techniques and proper facial expressions to leave good first impressions.

Next, Ms. Huynh Thi Xuan Lien centered her speech on Cultural & Behavioral Communication by clearly highlighting the ways in which a customer service-oriented mindset is gradually being integrated into an organization’s culture, and how it would lead to smoother cross-functional collaborations between not only the students and the university, but also between departments and affiliated institutions as well.

TUEH professors on enhancing customer service mindset at UEH

MSc. Le Thi Hanh An, in charge of Admissions Communication, Marketing - Communication Department shared about the upcoming student care activities in "The Journey of caring for students".

It is with great hope and expectation that the University will continue to build on and improve our customer service-oriented mentality to foster stronger inter-department cooperation, which ultimately will be geared towards a more quality and globally recognized UEH.
