HAPRI is in the top 113 of the world's leading social policy organizations in 2020

In mid-February 2021, the Health and Agricultural Policy Research Institute (HAPRI), affiliated with the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City was honored in the Top 2020 Social Policy Think Tanks, ranked 113th and in the Top 2020 Best New Think Tanks of the Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program Program (TTCSP) - University of Pennsylvania - USA.

 

Think Tanks are organizations that research, analyze and develop policy on domestic and international issues, allowing policy developers and the public to make relevant decisions.

The Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program (TTCSP) is conducted by the Lauder Institute, University of Pennsylvania (USA), to evaluate the role of policy institutions to governments. TTCSP works with leading scholars and experts from consulting organizations and universities, ranking the top "Think Tanks" globally. The selection process goes through many rounds, starting from the recruitment of members for the Team of Experts and updating TTCSP Think Tank Database (4 - 8/2020) to Nomination rounds (9 - 10/2020), Ranking (10/2020), and Selection of the Team of Experts (11 - 12/2020).

Accordingly, in 2020, HAPRI is assessed as one of the top social policy organizations in the world, ranked 113th. Simultaneously, HAPRI is considered to be at the top of the newly established and having the best performance "Think Tanks" over the past 24 months. It results from hard work, constant innovative research, and strategic analysis on many challenging issues in society.

The Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program (TTCSP) has developed a series of initiatives that help bridge the gap between knowledge and policy in critical areas. These international cooperation efforts aim to form a global network of policy institutes to improve policy development while at the same time strengthening democratic and social institutions around the world.

TTCSP works with leading scholars and experts from consulting organizations and universities, creating an annual Global Go To Think Tank Index to rank the world's top “Think Tanks”, with the help from a council of more than 1,796 organizations and experts from media organizations, institutes, public and private sponsor organizations, and governments around the world. The goal is to promote the results of “Think Tanks” to increase public awareness of the essential roles of “Think Tanks” to the government and society.

Top Social Policy Think Tanks is the world's leading group of social policy organizations. These “Think Tanks” excel in research, analysis, and community commitment on policy issues to foster debates, facilitating cooperation among stakeholders, maintaining community support and funding, and improving the overall life quality in nations.
