UEH launches a series of online counseling program "UEH's always by your side"

The Department of Student Affairs (DSA) collaborated with the UEH Student Association to organize a series of online counseling programs "UEH's always by your side" to become a genuine friend who always listens, shares, and accompanies students while they study at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City.Through the program, students will be provided with useful and timely information on current issues related to their mental health, helping them to improve the understanding of themselves, their living conditions, and social relationships, thereby increasing positive emotions and making their own decisions in difficult situations.
Each counseling program is a Talkshow on different topics such as Exam stress, self-love, common diseases among students… Throughout the program, students will have the opportunity to communicate with experts with many years of experience. In addition, there is a section named "Difficult questions for experts", where you can submit questions in advance through the form anonymously or identified related to the topic or ask questions directly in the program. This program is organized in the form of a Livestream, making it easy for UEH-ers to access, interact and be appropriate in the context of the current complicated Covid-19 epidemic.
Understanding concerns and worries before the final exam of UEH students, the series of counseling activities "UEH's always by your side" was broadcast on the first issue with the topic "Overcoming Stress - Fear of exam season" at 6:30 pm on May 21, 2021, on the fanpage of DSA, the Youth UEH Community and the UEH Volunteer and the Student Support Department with the participation of Ms. Le Thi Linh Trang, Doctor in Psychology. In this topic, Dr. Linh Trang has brought meaningful advice and shares, listened to the students, and answered many questions.  The program has helped students remove concerns about pressure on scores and achievements, negative emotions about exams, fears, worries around losing motivation to study, etc.

Topic "Overcoming Stress - Fear of exam season"
Ms. Linh Trang, Doctor in Psychology shared, “According to a study by York University, UK, from 2015 up to now, the suicide rate among students is increasing, which is due to pressures from difficulties in knowledge acquisition, changing living environment, pressures from family or tuition fees... As students, we cannot avoid the pressures mentioned above, but when we have orientation from the beginning and have the training, we will be able to overcome these stages, becoming more mature and stronger.”
Through the topic "Overcoming Stress - Fear of exam season", UEH hopes to partially help students relieve and balance the pressure in studying, turning pressure into motivation to strive. Additionally, students should learn to love themselves, take care of both physical and mental health, arouse positive inner energies, and cherish their relationships. So that we could work together, achieve academic goals, both immediate and long-term.
