UEH organizes a seminar on solutions to increase the proportion of international lecturers and experts at UEH in the period 2020 – 2025

Overview of the seminar

The program has the participation of Prof.Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong - School Council Chairman, Prof.Dr. Su Dinh Thanh - President, Prof.Dr. Nguyen Trong Hoai - Vice President, Dr. Bui Quang Hung - Vice President and leaders of units, guests, project team members.

At the seminar, members of the project team presented the following contents: The ratio of international lecturers/experts needed for UEH to participate in the Top 500 best universities according to QS Asian University Ranking; experience to increase ratio of a number of countries and universities; practical policies at UEH and some solutions to increase the proportion of international lecturers/experts.

Participants actively contributed many strategic and highly feasible solutions, contributing to the construction of one of the 9 key projects of UEH in the period 2020 - 2025: Quality improvement of  staff in term of expertise, English and increase in the proportion of international lecturers.

To conclude, Prof.Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong - the School Council Chairman highly appreciated solutions on policy to attract international lecturers and experts and the contributions of participants. The whole school needs a high determination, "real" internationalization, promoting international communication, promoting the role of faculties, balancing the finance, dividing appropriate timelines for the project, etc. Construction Team needs to complete the project quickly, the important thing is to actualize and implement the project effectively in the future.
