The 2nd ASEAN SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM is a collaborative international exchange program for ASEAN students, organized by a consortium of regional universities, designed to empower students through valuable experiences, skill development, and a practical mindset. In 2024, UEH will assume the lead role, focusing on “Empowering Global Leaders through Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Sustainability.”

The program's objective is to give valuable chances for university students worldwide to engage in cultural exchange, learning, and knowledge of different cultures. It also strives to promote collaboration and teamwork in initiatives, particularly in the vibrant and dynamic city of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

The program offers practical learning experiences, including industrial visits, group projects, real-life case studies, and cultural, artistic, sports, and technology application activities.

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong Province, and Dong Nai Province

• Provides academic and practical experience, including industrial visits and various cultural, artistic, athletic, and technology application-oriented exchange activities.
• Improves English proficiency, enhances teamwork and communication skills, and gains practical experience. These benefits will help improve your academic performance, boost your confidence, etc.
• Includes a fast track for a 3-month online course on Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Development, with the opportunity to convert it into credits for Sustainable Development (2 credits) and Business Entrepreneurship (1 credit) subject to eligibility. The eligibility criteria for this course are [specific criteria].
• Provides a unique platform for multicultural exchange with 80 international students from major universities such as Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD) in Indonesia, King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) in Thailand, the University of Malaya in Malaysia, and the University of the Philippines Los Banos - Philippines; Asian Institute of Management - Philippines; Universiti Brunei Darussalam - Brunei; Northwestern University - Philippines; Osnabruck University of Applied Science - Germany, among others.
• Provides a certificate of participation in an international summer camp and meets the requirements for the “International Integration” category of the “STUDENT OF 05 MERITS” award.

Participants:

Both undergraduate and graduate students from different countries (inc. Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Brunei, Europe, etc)

Participants should meet these requirements:

• Proficient English communication skills
• Outstanding academic performance
• Commitment to full participation in the program

ESPECIALLY, following the interview, the Organizing Committee will select 12 students (out of 40) who demonstrate passion, responsibility, and dedication to serve as LOs (Liaison Officers) who supervise the participating student groups. LO will receive a certificate from the Program Organizing Committee.

Fee: 7.000.000 VND/ person (285 USD/ person) for seven days

The fee includes seven days of accommodation and meals, a series of seminars and workshops during the program, a program kit, airport transfers, venue transportation, entrance fees to scheduled places, and a participation certificate.

It does not include air tickets, visas, personal expenses, off-schedule activities, or travel insurance during the program.
