Training Program “UEH–Clarivate Research Week”

To support UEH lecturers and students in effectively utilizing Clarivate’s research solutions, including Web of Science (WoS), InCites Benchmarking & Analytics, and Pivot-RP, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), in collaboration with Clarivate, will organize a series of online training sessions with the following topics:

1. Efficient Literature Review using Web of Science

Time: 09:00 – 10:00 AM, Monday, March 23, 2026

Participants: UEH lecturers and students

Content: This session introduces how to use Web of Science to quickly find reliable academic sources through smart search features, advanced filters, and citation tracking, helping participants conduct effective literature reviews for research papers or theses.

2. Choosing the Right Journal & Avoiding Predatory Publishers

Time: 09:00 – 10:00 AM, Tuesday, March 24, 2026

Participants: UEH lecturers and students

Content: Guidance on selecting suitable journals using Web of Science and Journal Citation Reports (JCR). The session will help participants evaluate journal credibility, avoid predatory publishers, and increase the chances of successful research publication.

3. Show Me the Money! – Finding Funding Opportunities in Pivot-RP

Time: 09:00 – 10:00 AM, Friday, March 27, 2026

Participants: UEH lecturers

Content: A hands-on session on using Pivot-RP to quickly identify funding opportunities relevant to research areas. Participants will learn how to claim their profiles, set up personalized alerts, build funding lists, and track calls for proposals with their research teams.
