UII | Apply now for the Innovation Immersion 2026 Program - Study visit and participation in the Asia Pacific Youth Co:Lab Summit in Thailand

Innovation is not only about ideas developed in the classroom, but also about the ability to connect, learn, and create value through real-world experiences in an international environment.

As the startup and innovation ecosystem across the Asia-Pacific region continues to grow rapidly, participating directly in international forums provides students with opportunities to broaden their perspectives, stay updated on emerging trends, and build global networks.

To create opportunities for students to experience international learning and engagement, the UEH Institute of Innovation (UII), in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Viet Nam and the UNDP Asia-Pacific Regional Office, is launching the Innovation Immersion 2026 Program – a study visit and participation in the Youth Co:Lab Summit 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand.

During the 5-day journey in Thailand, selected students will have opportunities to:

• Participate in the Youth Co:Lab Summit 2026 at the United Nations Conference Centre (UNCC), gathering experts, international organizations, startups, and young innovators from across the region.
• Explore emerging trends in innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development through panel discussions, forums, and international networking activities.
• Visit and learn at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), one of the region’s leading institutions in technology and innovation-oriented education.
• Explore leading technology hubs and startup ecosystems in Thailand.
• Enhance English communication skills, global mindset, and adaptability in a multicultural learning environment.

More than just a short-term international learning opportunity, this program offers students a meaningful journey to connect academic knowledge with real-world experiences, expand international networks, and discover new perspectives on innovation and entrepreneurship in the region.

PROGRAM INFORMATION

Duration: 5 days (June 28 – July 2, 2026)

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Number of Participants: 8 students

Target Participants: UEH students who are interested and suitable for the program

Requirements:

• Good English communication skills, active participation spirit, and strong academic performance.
• Commitment to fully participate in all program activities.
• Priority will be given to early applicants with impressive application forms and demonstrated interest or experience in technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Expenses:

• Accommodation, meals, travel insurance, and local transportation costs in Thailand during the program will be supported by UNDP Viet Nam under the framework of the Youth Digital Citizen Challenge 2025.
• Participating students are responsible for: Round-trip airfare between Viet Nam and Thailand, personal living expenses and other individual expenditures.
