Virtual research seminar: “Monetary Policy and Central Banking at the Zero Lower Bound: Implications for the Inflation Targeting in the Post-Pandemic Era”.

The research seminar series of the School of Banking is to be held in 2021 with the participation of many young and prominent researchers from a variety of research disciplines with the most practical sharing about activities in scientific research and international publication.

The 6th SOB RESEARCH SEMINAR 2021 (SRS 2021)  is expected to organize with the Keynote Speaker -  Associate. Prof. Muhammad Ali Nasir.

1. Guest speaker:

MUHAMMAD ALI NASIR

Associate Professor in Economics at the University of Huddersfield and Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge.

Guest editorship of reputable journals including the Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance, Journal of Environmental Management, the Resource Policy, and Technological Forecasting, and Social Change.

The author of the forthcoming book is "Off the Target: The Stagnating Political Economy of Europe and Post-Pandemic Recovery" (1st ed. 2022).

2. Content:

  • Contemporary issues in "Monetary Policy and Central Banking at the Zero Lower Bound" and "Implications for the Inflation Targeting in the Post-Pandemic Era".
  • Q & A session.
