The programme continued with an address by Dr. Lê Đạt Chí - Dean of the School of Finance, on the theme "Taking up the mission - Writing the future". On the occasion of the 50th anniversary, the School of Finance looked back on its journey of formation and development and on carrying forward its mission of training financial human resources to serve the development of the economy and the country. From the early days, full of difficulties, generations of leaders, lecturers and staff have continuously cultivated knowledge, renewed education and built the School’s academic foundation. Over 50 years, the School has trained many generations of students, postgraduate students and doctoral candidates who have made and continue to make contributions in banks, businesses, management agencies, universities and many domestic and international organisations. In particular, the return and involvement of generations of alumni as experts, partners, researchers, recruiters and new lecturers has created a meaningful cycle of knowledge and education.

The School sees its 50-year legacy not only as an achievement handed down, but also as the responsibility of today’s generation to continue nurturing and developing it. In a spirit of service to learners and to society, and with an eye to the future, the School hopes that each succeeding generation will not only preserve the good values that have been built, but also make that legacy ever stronger, more humane and more meaningful for the generations to come.
On this occasion, UEH also recognised and presented Dedication Emblems to lecturers with 25 or more years of continuous service at UEH, expressing deep gratitude to the generations who have contributed so much to building the UEH of today.
