On September 28, 2026, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) held a ceremony to announce and present the Decision on establishing the Board of Testing and Competency Assessment, upgraded from the Testing Center. Simultaneously, UEH announced decisions on consolidating the Party branch committees of several subordinate branches under the UEH Party Committee for the 2025–2030 term.

From the first batch of 516 students in 1976, nearly 280,000 learners have graduated from the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) over the past 50 years. Each has chosen a different field, path, and place to grow, while carrying with them the memories, knowledge, and values nurtured at UEH. To preserve, connect, and share these lasting imprints, UEH Alumni officially launches the “UEH Alumni Inspiring Stories” feature - a space where stories from the UEH alumni community are heard, shared, and carried forward.

ShanghaiRanking 2026: Three UEH Disciplines Featured in the Global Rankings, with Finance Placed in the 101–150 Group

According to the 2026 Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) published by ShanghaiRanking, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) has three disciplines ranked globally. Among them, Finance is placed in the 101–150 group, while Economics and Business Administration are both placed in the 301–400 group. The results further recognize UEH’s presence in its research-strength areas on the international academic landscape.
