Following the success of previous publications, the research on Ho Chi Minh City Economy in the final issue of 2024 has been officially announced with the title "Ho Chi Minh City Economic Report: Recovery and readiness for a new era".

On the morning of December 6, 2024, at Hall A103, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), a National Conference was held with the theme "Contributions to Vietnam's socio-economic development strategy for the period 2025-2030". In the context of preparing for the 14th National Congress of the Party, this event was an opportunity for researchers, lecturers, managers and delegates from the Party and state agencies, and policy-making units to discuss and to contribute ideas to orient Vietnam's socio-economic development strategy. The conference took place in a special context when the country entered a new period that General Secretary To Lam emphasized as "The new era of development - The era of the Vietnamese people's rise". This is an affirmation of the aspirations and the beliefs of the entire nation in the journey to conquer great goals in economics, society and sustainable development.
