A surprising April at UEH English Zone!

Building on the success of March, EZ has brought countless exciting activities to UEH students in April. There's a mix of old and new, something for everyone. So let's sit down, and review the highlights of this month with EZ!

Is April the "lie of EZ”?

In the spirit of April Fool's Day, on April 4th, Bell English Club collaborated with UEH English Zone to organize an Speaking Group Extended: Soul of Lies, focusing on the topic of "lies". As human beings, no matter how sincere we are, there are times when we have to resort to lies. But are lies always bad, or can they serve a higher purpose? By participating in this Speaking Group session, UEH students had the opportunity to be honest with themselves and share the stories behind those lies.

Welcoming Earth Day - Joining hands to build a Green Campus at UEH

With the goal of creating a green and sustainable learning environment, UEH encourages students to care for and protect the environment around them. To provide an opportunity for students to exchange perspectives on environmental issues, the Faculty of Foreign Languages and UEH English Zone jointly organized ECOFF #38: Happy Earth Day on April 11th. Not only practicing English but UEHers also had the chance to interact, share knowledge about the environment, and discuss actions for a greener, cleaner, and more beautiful environment in the future, all within the cool green space of UEH English Zone.

Mixed feelings of truth and falsehood - Familiar yet strange.

April's EZ Talks brought a mix of surprises and familiar experiences for UEH English Zone. Starting with the “Lie Buffet” on April 2nd, students fell into EZ's playful trap as the EZ Talks session transformed into a board game session with English discussions about the game. Despite being "fooled," UEHers enthusiastically participated, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere for the opening event of the month. Building on the success of the previous month, EZ Theater made a "comeback and became even more powerful." This time, the film screening delved into more profound topics, sparking discussions and providing EZ with diverse perspectives on the issues.

Experience unique activities only at EZ Talks sessions

With the enthusiastic support from the students, EZ improved the learning process and introduced new and exciting activities Sign Language Season III to make the learning experience more effective and enjoyable. After a series of fresh activities, EZ ended April EZ Talks with a Talk session in its true form. The theme Virtual Experience focused on our beloved childhood games, allowing participants to reconnect with their inner child and reminisce about beautiful childhood memories.
