On the morning of August 9, 2025, in the warm and laughter-filled atmosphere of Hall B1.302 at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), the "20 Years – UEH K27" reunion took place. This was not only an occasion for the alumni of the 27th cohort to return to their beloved alma mater and reminisce with teachers and friends, but also a significant milestone with the launch of the UEH Alumni K27 Liaison Committee, opening a new chapter in their journey of connection and partnership with UEH.

The event was honored by the presence of Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh - President of UEH; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Khac Quoc Bao - Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President of UEH; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Thi Bich Nguyet - Chairwoman of the Strategy and Policy Advisory Council, Standing Vice President of UEH Alumni; MSc. Phan Ngoc Anh - Deputy Head of the Department of Communications and Partnerships, General Secretary of UEH Alumni; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Khanh Nam - Rector of the UEH College of Economics, Law and Government; Dr. Tran Thi Tuan Anh - Vice Rector of the UEH College of Economics, Law and Government; along with former lecturers of the 27th cohort and a large number of K27 alumni from all over the country.
In his opening remarks, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Khac Quoc Bao - Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of UEH, expressed his joy and pride in meeting the familiar faces of the K27 alumni generation, who have now matured, achieved success, and are actively contributing to society in many fields. He sincerely acknowledged the affection, dedication, and strong bond that the K27 cohort has always shown for UEH, considering it a vivid testament to the strength of the alumni community - where every individual, regardless of their position, shares a common love and pride for the university that was part of their youth. On this occasion, he extended his congratulations to all UEH K27 Alumni and expressed his hope that the newly launched Liaison Committee will continue to be a strong bridge, spreading the spirit of solidarity, sharing, and partnership with the university in community development activities, contributing to elevating the UEH brand further on the global academic and intellectual map.

Representing the K27 alumni, Mr. Huynh Thuc Dinh shared moving recollections of his vibrant youth at UEH, with cherished moments spent with teachers and friends during passionate lectures and extracurricular activities. He expressed his profound gratitude to UEH - the place that gave wings to their knowledge and nurtured the spirit of ambition in every K27 student. He also affirmed the desire, along with the K27 Alumni Liaison Committee, to continue maintaining and developing networking activities, supporting one another in work and life, and partnering with the university in community programs for the sustainable development of UEH in the future.

One of the most special and meaningful moments of the event was the launch of the UEH Alumni K27 Liaison Committee, a powerful affirmation of the spirit of solidarity and strong bond among the K27 student generation. This is a significant turning point, opening a new phase in maintaining and developing the alumni network to co-create new values. It will also serve as a solid bridge, combining the strength of alumni generations, connecting with the university and the community, and helping to promote the image and spirit of UEH on its journey of global integration.

Continuing the spirit of "Gratitude - Connection - Sharing," the K27 alumni donated VND 120 million to the UEH Giving program, with the wish to support and empower UEH students who are overcoming difficulties, achieving excellent academic results, and nurturing their aspirations. A UEH representative respectfully received the symbolic donation check and expressed deep gratitude to the K27 alumni for this noble and humane gesture - a vivid testament to the spirit of mutual support and community responsibility of UEHers.

Notably, leading up to the reunion, the atmosphere of connection was sparked by a series of exciting sports exchange activities that attracted numerous alumni. At the event, the Organizing Committee honored and presented certificates to individuals who achieved outstanding results in the golf tournament and running race - exemplary faces of the K27 community's spirit of training, unity, and camaraderie.

In the warm and friendly atmosphere of the reunion, the K27 Liaison Committee also presented cherished souvenirs to the teachers - the silent contributors who have accompanied and inspired so many generations of students. It was a sincere tribute, a reminder of the enduring teacher-student bond, and a promise to continue standing alongside the university in its future development.
