Closing Ceremony of the Student Exchange Program between UEH Campuses and Partner Institutions in Mid-term 2024 - UEH SUMMER CAMP 2024 at Vinh Long Campus

On the afternoon of July 27, 2024, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) organized the Closing Ceremony of the Student Exchange Program between campuses of University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City and Partner Institutions in Mid-Semester 2024 - UEH SUMMER CAMP 2024 at Vinh Long Campus.
Attending the Closing Ceremony, on behalf of UEH main campus, there were Mr. Phung Thanh Binh - Deputy Head of the Department of Environmental Economics, Agriculture and Resources, and distinguished lecturers of modules. On behalf of the invited delegates, there were Mr. Le Xuan Hien - Information Technology and Unity Expert, Mr. Nguyen Khoa Duc - Training and Product Development Specialist - UBTECH VN of IPPG Group; Mr. Thai Hoang Khai - Director of Golden A Academy of Technology & Innovation. On the side of UEH Vinh Long Campus, there were Ms. Nguyen Thi Thy Lieu - Vice Director of VLC, Mr. Nguyen Duc Vinh - Vice Director of VLC, Mr. Ho Thien Quyen - Vice Director of VLC, along with leaders of Departments, Schools, Centers, Youth Union, Student Association of Vinh Long Campus, and especially the presence of all students participating in the program UEH SUMMER CAMP 2024.

Overview of the Closing Ceremony of UEH Summer Camp 2024 Program
Speaking at the Closing Ceremony, Mr. Ho Thien Quyen, Vice Director of VLC - emphasized: “The program UEH Summer Camp 2024 was successfully organized. In addition to the main subjects, the Campus organized many extracurricular activities for students to help them gain knowledge and experience about the life, culture and people of the Mekong Delta region in general and Vinh Long province in particular. In 2025, the Campus will continue to coordinate with UEH member colleges and partner schools to keep organizing this Program. Therefore, the Campus looks forward to receiving the response and participation of teachers from the schools and the interest and registration of students”.

On behalf of the students of the UEH Summer Camp 2024, student Tran Khanh Huyen - University of Economics, University of Danang - remarked at the ceremony: “Participating in the UEH Summer Camp 2024 has brought me and other students many special experiences. Modern facilities meet all the learning and living needs of students. Friendly and dedicated teachers are always ready to support and inspire students in each lecture. In addition to useful lessons in class, we also participated in extracurricular activities listed as the Talkshow on "AR/VR - The combination of reality and virtuality in real life", the science workshop on "Inspiring - Continuing passion", "Discovering Mekong" contest; sports exchange; the activity "A day as a soldier" in the 2024 Economic Student Volunteer Campaign", etc. Thereby, we can understand more about the history, culture, people and life of the Southwest region. The two-week journey of the program with many experiences helped us gain valuable lessons, necessary skills, beautiful memories, an unforgettable mark in our student life. Those useful things will certainly be extremely valuable luggage to help us gain more confidence and courage to continue striving for our university study goal".
Before concluding her speech, student Tran Khanh Huyen, on behalf of the students, thanked the teachers of University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, especially the teachers of Vinh Long Campus for organizing the most useful, meaningful and complete UEH Summer Camp 2024 program. She also sent a message to the students: "The UEH Summer Camp 2024 program has ended, tomorrow we will say goodbye. Each of you will return to continue studying at your university, but let's always remember a meaningful summer in 2024 when we studied together and exchanged with each other at Vinh Long Campus in the Southwest region".

At the Closing Ceremony, the Director of Vinh Long Campus rewarded students with excellent academic achievements and active participation in the activities of the UEH Summer Camp 2024 Program. Completing the UEH Summer Camp 2024, the Director of UEH awarded Certificates of Completion to 117 students.

The UEH Summer Camp 2024 takes place for 2 weeks, from July 15 to 31, 2024 with the participation of students studying at UEH campuses, students from the University of Economics - University of Danang and students from Nha Trang University. The program offers students many activities in learning, scientific research, and skill training. This is a practical and effective program, giving students a truly meaningful summer.
