Colorful Explosion with the Workshop "Relaxing with Thematic Acrylic Painting" at UEH - Vinh Long Campus

With the desire to create an art space that contributes to spreading creative inspiration in the UEHers community in particular and the community of painting lovers in general, while creating an environment for exchange, learning and interaction between members of the UEH community, on the morning of June 22, 2024, ArtTech Hub cooperated with UEH - Vinh Long Branch to organize the Opening of the Workshop "Relaxing with Thematic Acrylic Painting" at UEH Vinh Long Campus. This workshop series was held in 4 sessions: on the morning and afternoon of June 22, 2024, afternoon of June 29, 2024 and morning of June 30, 2024.

ArtTech Hub (ATH) of University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, managed by UEH College of Technology and Design (CTD), is a network of domestic and international schools, experts, businesses, and management agencies solving urban and industrial problems based on technology and art elements towards sustainable development. ATH will perform 3 main functions, including Education and training, Research and Development (R&D), and Networking. In particular, in the Education and training function, ATH will organize short-term courses and training programs related to the fields of Communication, Fashion, ArtTech, and Design. "Fine arts are the source of encouragement, where everyone can find joy and creativity". That is why the Workshop Series at UEH - Vinh Long Campus was organized, that was to initiate creativity, inspire art and help members have the opportunity to relax and relieve themselves after stressful working or studying hours, leading to a balanced and happy life.

The opening ceremony of the Workshop was attended by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Phan Thi Bich Nguyet - Chairwoman of the UEH Policy and Strategy Advisory Council, Ms. Dao Thi Minh Huyen - Deputy Chief of UEH College of Technology and Design Office and Lecturers of the School of Media Design. On behalf of Vinh Long Campus, there was Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Lieu - Party Committee Secretary, Standing Deputy Director of the Campus, Mr. Ho Thien Quyen - Deputy Director of the Campus, Mr. Nguyen Trung Tien - Secretary of the Youth Union, Ms. Dang Thi Thuy An - President of Student Association, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Ngoc - Vice President of the Student Association, Deputy Secretary, and interested Lecturers, Officials and Students of the Campus.

Remarking on the Workshop, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Phan Thi Bich Nguyet - Chairwoman of the UEH Policy and Strategy Advisory Council - emphasized: "University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City always aims to create the most favorable conditions for everyone to exploit their potential, to assert that we have a lot of energy, a lot of abilities, and many more special things than that. That's why, today, we come here to lay the first, smallest brick, officially launching a series of art workshops, starting with the Acrylic Drawing Workshop for everyone to freely explore ourselves and inspire better things in the future."

The workshop "Relaxing with Thematic Acrylic Painting" was held for the first time at UEH - Vinh Long Campus, providing a unique art space, where sound, light and painting tools blend together to create inspirational paintings for art-loving souls.

Under the dedicated guidance of highly qualified instructors, participants were equipped with knowledge of Acrylic painting techniques and were encouraged to freely create products with their own ideas. Each participant had the opportunity to express their personality and uniqueness through art. Each participant was not only empowered to create thematic products but also had the opportunity to share experiences, exchange emotions and learn from each other's unique art works. The colorful paintings, bearing a strong personal mark, are proof of the boundless creativity of each participant. Entering the Workshop space, participants seemed to be lost in a spacious art world, where all worries disappear, leaving only a passion for creation. The open, airy space inspired creativity for each brush stroke and each color block.

Sharing about this Workshop Series, Lecturer Vo Thi Ngoan, UEH Vinh Long Campus, asserted: "The activities in the Acrylic Painting Workshop have given me interesting experiences, helped me discover myself and interests and relax after the pressures of life. I had a very fun time with my colleagues and students, showing off my painting ability." Ho Thi Thanh Hang, a student at UEH Vinh Long Campus, shared: "Participating in this workshop helps me feel relaxed and reduce stress after tiring hours of studying and working. Painting is a great way to express myself and convey my message. I am very excited to learn more about art and make friends with those who share the same passion with me. I hope that in the future, I will have the opportunity to participate in more workshops like this to improve my skills and knowledge."

At the first session, members were freely immersed in color and able to create paintings, turning seemingly simple colors into emotional works of art. Continuing the creative journey in the second session, the members skillfully turned plain white canvas bags into unique works with their personal values. Each bag was a story and a place for members to express their personality and style. After the two sessions, the array of colors planted seeds of inspiration in the artist's souls. The creativity and artistic passion of the "artists" contributed to the success of the program. The creative journey has not stopped there. Let's look forward to more surprises and unique art works in the next two sessions of the workshop on June 29 and 30, 2024.

The workshop "Relaxing with Thematic Acrylic Paintings" is not only a place to unleash creativity but also a place to connect and build a more cohesive and friendly UEH community. Each participant can find joy, relaxation and new inspiration for themselves.

At the end of the workshop, each member brought home a "brainchild" - a complete Acrylic painting bearing a strong personal mark and expressing unique creativity. This is not only the result of a lesson but also a testament to each person's passion for art and endless creativity.
