Cooperation Signing between UEH College of Economics, Law and Government and Sunvalue Appraisal Group Co., Ltd. & Institute of Economics and Technology

On the morning of November 27, 2024, UEH College of Economics, Law and Government signed a Memorandum of Understanding with SunValue Appraisal Group Co., Ltd. & Institute of Economics and Technology (SIET), marking an important step in promoting cooperation in training and research to create sustainable values for society.

Attending the program, on behalf of SunValue Appraisal Group LLC and the Institute of Economics and Technology, there were Mr. Truong Thai Son - Chairman of SunValue Group LLC, Director of the Institute of Economics and Technology; Mr. Michael Lee Mattox - CEO of SunValue Group LLC; Mr. Pham Ngoc Minh Duc - Deputy CEO - SunValue; Ms. Tran Boi Nhi - Deputy General Director of Finance and Accounting - SunValue; Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tu - Deputy General Director of Business - SunValue and Mr. Nguyen The Phuong - Deputy Director of the Institute of Economics and Technology.

On behalf of UEH, there was the participation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Khanh Nam - Rector of the UEH College of Economics, Law and Government; Dr. Tran Thi Tuan Anh - Vice Rector of the UEH College of Economics, Law and Government; Mr. Phan Ngoc Anh - Deputy Head of the Department of Communications and Partnerships; Dr. Nguyen Kim Duc - Vice Dean, Institute for Regional Development Research and Consulting; Mr. Huynh Thuc Dinh - Deputy Chief of CELG Office; Dr. Duong Kim The Nguyen - Dean of the UEH School of Law and representatives of the Center for Economics, Law and Management, the Appraisal and Asset Management program, School of Economics.

In addition, the signing ceremony received the attendance of Dr. Truong Anh Tuan - Chairman of Hoang Quan Group; Dr. Pham Linh - Deputy General Director of Viet A Bank; Mr. Vu Ngoc Linh - Head of Brand & Communications of HD Bank; Mr. Debajit Banerjee - CEO - Axis Group; and Mr. Tran Hoang - Editor-in-Chief of Saigon Entrepreneur Newspaper.

Overview of the ceremony

In his opening speech at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Khanh Nam, representing UEH, emphasized the importance of the cooperation spirit in developing human resources and creating added value for the country. The CELG President stated that mutual understanding and trust are the premises for developing and achieving higher values of cooperation. This is a strategic step, in line with UEH's training and research orientation in serving the current and future generations.

Representing SunValue, Dr. Truong Thai Son, introduced the company and emphasized that aspiration is the third pillar, besides knowledge and cooperation, in building sustainable values. He asserted that the signing was not just a document but would be the basis for opening up diverse cooperation activities in the future.

In addition, Mr. Michael Lee Mattox from SunValue expressed his excitement regarding the opportunity to cooperate, especially in supporting graduates entering the labor market. He highly appreciated the potential for cooperation between the two units and expressed his desire to reach a common consensus, creating the premise for a sustainable and successful cooperative relationship.

At the Ceremony, the parties agreed on the contents of the memorandum of understanding (MOU), including:
Connecting training with practice: Creating conditions for students to participate in activities, projects and applied research experiences based on the strengths of SunValue and the Institute of Economics and Technology. At the same timeConcurrently, partners participate in short-term training courses and advanced training courses that UEH hosts.

Connecting to carry out research and projects: Organizing seminars, scientific discussions, and research cooperation in partners' fields.

Connecting to attract human resources: Participating in the Ho Chi Minh City Internship and Career Fair, and support the promotion of both sides' brand images.

Contributing to the UEH Giving Fund: Awarding Nurture Talents Scholarships and supporting student projects to spread knowledge together.

Organization and appraisal process: Establishing a focal point in implementing and organizing periodic appraisals; concurrently, developing a plan to specify the cooperation content and implementation.

The ceremony took place in a solemn yet open atmosphere, demonstrating the determination of the units to build a strong cooperative relationship, together creating new values for the community. The signing ceremony is not only a milestone but also the beginning of a long-term cooperation journey towards sustainable development and prosperity.
