In the growing global challenges such as climate change, migration, and sustainable economic development, equipping individuals with knowledge to raise awareness is crucial. Through various programs and extracurricular activities focused on law, economics, and related issues for diverse audiences, UEH has been contributing to building a community that is ready to face the challenges of the era with fair, creative, and humanistic thinking.
The Vietnam Commercial Mediation Competition 2023 (V-Med 2023) was organized by the Faculty of Economics, Law, and Management at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH CELG) in collaboration with the Vietnam International Commercial Mediation Center (VICMC). The competition aims to promote and distribute knowledge and skills in dispute resolution through commercial mediation in Vietnam. Taking place in the context of the growing global trend of resolving civil and commercial disputes through mediation, the competition highlights the many advantages of this method, such as saving time and costs, maintaining relationships, and ensuring confidentiality. It serves as an engaging academic activity for students passionate about commercial mediation, providing them with practical knowledge, experience, and skills through specific case studies. Additionally, the competition raises awareness of useful knowledge related to laws and policies on commercial mediation in Vietnam.

The training course "Circular Economy Towards Sustainable Development: Issues Facing the Public Sector" is a significant event organized by the UEH Institute for Sustainable Finance and the Ho Chi Minh City Institute for Development Studies. The seminar "Finality of Arbitral Awards and Decisions by the Arbitral Tribunal"
The seminar was held on April 6, 2023, by the UEH College of Economics, Law, and Government (CELG) in collaboration with the Vietnam International Arbitration Center (VIAC) to organize the "Finality of Arbitral Awards and Decisions by the Arbitral Tribunal" seminar. The seminar focused on discussing regulations related to the finality of arbitral awards and decisions from both a theoretical and practical perspective in Vietnam, as well as experiences from other countries around the world. It provided an opportunity for experts to discuss real issues arising from the finality of arbitral decisions and explore ideas on how to enhance the effectiveness of dispute resolution through commercial arbitration.
