Developing digital resources at UEH - The academic highlight of the year 2021-2022

09 Feb, 2021

From today to February 5th, 2021, UEH officials and students can submit feedback on their experiences using these academic databases here.

To date, 45 universities/institutes in Vietnam have participated in the SAHEP Project; including 06 main member schools: University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH); University of Economics, University of Da Nang; University of Economics, Hanoi National University; Foreign Trade University; ThuongMai University; Financial Academy, with the focal point is the National Economics University (NEU). The project aims to build a shared electronic library to share exogenous databases and endogenous databases among member schools with the aim of (1) improving the quantity and quality of scientific research works; (2) promote cooperation in academic activities; and (3) enhancing the efficient use of e-learning resources of learners, teachers, and researchers in higher education institutions in Vietnam.

Sage Journals (Sage Publications Limited) and Emerald Insight (Emerald Publishing Limited) were the first two databases selected in the SAHEP project implementation framework. Member schools are granted permanent online access to the content of the full-text journal published in the years 2021-2022; and online access for 2 years (from January 2021 to December 2022) with the Sage Journals' electronic journal collection published from 1999 and from 1994 for Emerald Insight.

UEHers have the right to get access to the Sage Journals and Emerald Insight Publishers' databases

During the period of trial and getting user comments from February 5th, 2021, UEHers can only get access online at the university (on campus) at all UEH campuses (including at Nguyen Van Linh campus and Vinh Long Branch).

In order to evaluate the effectiveness of using Sage Journals and Emerald Insight, SAHEP Project Management Board and UEH Library look forward to receiving user feedback on (1) accessibility and use of the database, (2) search engine reviews and features.
