21 Oct, 2026

Understanding Vietnam's Economic Landscape and Business Environment

At the beginning of the program, the delegation participated in welcome activities at UEH and attended thematic sessions on Vietnam's economic outlook for 2026, the legal environment, and market entry strategies. These sessions provided the context for participants to explore the opportunities and considerations involved in understanding the Vietnamese market.

Complementing the academic sessions, business-oriented visits in Ho Chi Minh City also offered the delegation practical insights into the operating environment of local businesses. Connecting thematic discussions with direct observations provided a foundation for participants to continue exploring the market, operational practices, and management options in the following days.

Exploring Innovation and Business Practices

As part of the program, the SUSS delegation visited and held discussions with CT Group, SIHUB, Becamex, and Mermail to learn about Vietnam's business environment, innovation ecosystem, and technology applications. Insights shared by representatives of these organizations, combined with first-hand experiences, provided participants with additional perspectives on how businesses organize their operations, respond to market needs, and implement innovative solutions.

These experiences enabled participants to connect management knowledge with real-world practices, reflect on their professional experience, and discuss potential applications within their own organizations. The visits also provided opportunities to connect with business representatives, expand professional networks, and explore potential future collaboration.

Reflecting on Experiences and Exploring Practical Applications

The Executive Business Immersion Programme in Vietnam concluded with a certificate presentation and closing ceremony. Group project presentations, discussions, and academic feedback provided participants with opportunities to consolidate the knowledge and insights they had gained. Drawing on thematic sessions, business visits, and networking activities, participants synthesized their observations and discussed how these insights could be applied in management practice.

Through this exchange program, UEH-LI and SUSS further strengthened the connection between academic learning and business practice while expanding relationships among participants, educational institutions, and businesses, laying the groundwork for future exchange and collaboration.
