With the hope to create opportunities for students to explore differences in cross-cultural communication and equip them with essential skills to integrate into an international environment, the “Cross-Cultural Communication” event provided a dynamic exchange space, connecting Vietnamese and American students through engaging interactive activities.

The event kicked off with an exciting “Lunch & Learn” session, where students participated in games designed to deepen their understanding of different cultural communication styles. Through thrilling rounds of games, all participants had the chance to connect and learn interesting English idioms with the mini-game "A Tale Never Loses in the Telling" hosted by the organizers, as well as share laughter with the "Guess What’s Next" game prepared by American students.

After the energetic warm-up activities, students had a chance to relax and enjoy a refreshing tea break with fresh fruits, allowing for more casual conversations and deeper connections.

The afternoon session continued with insightful sharing from American students on the topic "Cross-Cultural Communication and How to Master It in the Workplace". The speakers discussed the importance of understanding cultural differences, especially in an international work environment, as well as strategies for adapting and building strong relationships with colleagues and friends from diverse backgrounds.

UEH students actively engaged in the discussion by asking questions and sharing their personal experiences in cross-cultural communication. Real-life stories helped everyone gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities in multicultural work environments.

More than just a cultural connection, “Cross-Cultural Communication” provided students with new perspectives on cross-cultural communication, equipping them with the confidence and skills to step into the global stage.
As part of the UEH English Zone events, the Cultural Connection successfully promoted cultural exchange and encouraged UEH students to become cultural ambassadors, bringing the beauty of Vietnam to the world.
