Explore Comprehensive Data from Statista: Extended Access in October

Statista is a premier platform for business data, offering access to comprehensive statistics and insights on over 80,000 topics across 170 fields. The database aggregates information from over 22,500 sources, making it an essential tool for market research, consumer behavior analysis, and industry trend assessments.
In 2023, over 1,040 academics and students from the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) registered as Statista members, indicating a significant interest within the UEH community towards this database. Consequently, the UEH Library collaborated with iGroup Vietnam to organize a trial program for the Statista database from March 8, 2024, to April 8, 2024. Positive feedback received during this period reflects an increasing demand for Statista, affirming the database's value in supporting educational, research, and teaching activities at UEH.

Building on this success, on August 28, 2024, the UEH Library held a meeting with Mr. Justin Tien, Statista’s Business Development Representative for the Asia-Pacific region, to facilitate extended access to Statista from October 14 to October 28, 2024.
Statista 2nd Trial program
UEH Library cordially invites esteemed academics and students to experience Statista and assess their satisfaction with this database. The feedback collected through the SURVEY will serve as a basis for UEH's consideration of subscribing to Statista access in 2025.
To encourage UEHers to participate in the trial program, the Statista Database Provider will give away 01 JBL Go 3 Speaker through a Lucky Draw.
Participation Terms:
- Participate in the Statista Database experience and take the survey at <https://go.ueh.edu.vn/statistatrial2024>
- Prize announcement: 16:00, October 31, 2024 at the Library Portal
- Lucky Draw: The Database Provider will randomly draw a number from 1 to at least 3000 using the tool <https://www.random.org/>, corresponding to the order of participants who respond to the survey recorded by the system
**Note: the Lucky Draw and Giveaway will only be carried out when the Library receives at least 3000 survey responses.

During this trial period, UEHers can access Statista by following these steps:
Step 1: Connect to wifi at any UEH campus
Step 2: Go to <www.statista.com> and look for the University’s welcome message next to the Statista logo at the top of the page
Step 3: Explore and view full-text content available on Statista within UEH campuses
