Fearless exploration, stepping out of the Comfort Zone

In the EZ Career Talk activity "Refresh! Get out of your comfort zone!” which was held on June 6, 2023, students from UEH had the chance to speak with special guest Prof. Dr. Andreas Stoffers at hall B1.302, UEH Nguyen Tri Phuong Campus. The program has inspired and motivated students to understand themselves, push boundaries, and build momentum. The program has also provided opportunities and valuable information.

The event drew more than 200 students because of its intriguing topic.

Prof. Dr. Andreas Stoffers shared many instructive experiences with learners during his first visit to EZ Career Talk. With more than 18 years of experience in numerous senior positions in banks in Germany and Southeast Asia, he uses the metaphor "Eagle - Duck" throughout the event to inspire students to learn to believe in themselves and dare to make decisions. Sometimes, we must have the courage to push our limits and leave our comfort zones to achieve our most important goals. However, everyone has a different comfort zone, such as one related to their health, families, personal growth, or careers. It can be challenging to step outside of your comfort zone, but even if you fail, at least you tried your best, had faith in yourself, and tried to reach your full potential.

A message to encourage students to step out of their comfort zone, believe in themselves and strive to develop their abilities.

In just two hours, the program was held in a cheerful setting infused with the attendees' learning spirit. We can build momentum for our development when we understand ourselves sufficiently and are prepared to overcome our limitations. The best way to avoid falling behind and ending up like the frog at the bottom of the well is to maintain a humble attitude and an open mind.
