On December 2, 2025, at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), the Graduation Ceremony for the first cohort of the joint Bachelor of Applied Finance program between UEH and the University of Rennes (one of France's prestigious public universities) was held in a solemn, warm, and meaningful atmosphere. With 16 graduating students, four of whom have already transferred to France to pursue their master's degrees, the ceremony stands as a clear testament to the quality and effectiveness of the international joint training program between the two reputable educational institutions.
The ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Hai Ly – Vice Rector of the UEH College of Business; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Thi Thu Hong – Head of the UEH Department of Training; Dr. Le Dat Chi – Dean of the School of Finance and Head of the joint program's executive board; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Phuong Vy – Vice Dean of the School of Finance; and Mr. Duong Kha, M.A. – Vice Dean of the School of Finance.
The program was especially honored by the presence of Professor Christophe Tavera – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics in charge of international cooperation, and Professor Catherine Benjamin from the University of Rennes - scholars who have accompanied and made practical contributions to the operation and development of the program. Their presence underscored the deep commitment of the international partners and affirmed the reputation, quality, and seamless integration of the UEH–University of Rennes joint program.
