Immersing in Melodies Celebrating Extraordinary Efforts at Acoustic Show: GLORIOUS

On May 15th, 2024, at Hall B1 of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, The UEH Union of students x UEH English Zone successfully organized an Acoustic show with the theme GLORIOUS. With meaningful songs and the enthusiastic summer atmosphere, the program created unforgettable memories for UEH students.

The program was inspired by the story of Simba the lion in the movie The Lion King. Simba's journey to conquer the throne is a story of growth, courage, and responsibility. He dares to face life's challenges to step up to the highest position. Simba's glory lies not only in status or power but also in overcoming himself, overcoming adversity, and bringing good to himself and others. The theme GLORIOUS signifies glory, brilliance, and is also an adjective to describe resounding victories, extraordinary feats, and proud achievements from relentless effort. The program was divided into three main chapters, each with different messages and meanings tied to the process of growing up.

In Chapter 1, named Cherishing, students had the opportunity to immerse themselves in sweet and loving melodies filled with family affection. These songs symbolize the stage where each of us grows up in an environment full of love and nurturing, thereby raising awareness of our responsibilities and roles in society as the youth shaping the future of the country.

Chapter 2: Courageous continued to take students on the journey of striving and maturing youth with many challenges ahead. The songs performed in Chapter 2 praised the persistent efforts, extraordinary determination, and unwavering resolve of the youth in the face of difficulties.

Amid the close and artistic atmosphere of melodious music, students also enjoyed a light tea break with sweet cakes to replenish their energy and fully enjoy the cozy musical party.

Additionally, the atmosphere became lively again with the exciting interaction of the Minigame: “Who are they?” With familiar Disney movie soundtracks and lovely gifts for each correct answer, the game successfully sparked excitement among the students.

Finally, Chapter 3: Conquering concluded the program, representing the successful outcome of overcoming challenges and persistent efforts. Despite the journey of life being full of difficulties, it is the determination and perseverance that create true success.

The Acoustic show: GLORIOUS was not just a musical performance but also an opportunity for students to soothe their souls after long days of striving. Moreover, the entire event was conducted entirely in English, creating a professional communication and music appreciation environment. The UEH Union of students x UEH English Zone successfully provided students with a dynamic and valuable musical experience, further motivating them to have firm belief in their own journey. The Acoustic Show GLORIOUS concluded successfully, leaving memorable impressions and memories for all attendees.
