Imprints of the International Conference and the spread of ArtTech Fusion 2022

From December 4, 2022 - December 11, 2022, the International Conference and ArtTech Fusion series with the theme "Smart Living - Changing Lifestyle to Act on Sustainability through ArtTechLens" was successfully organized and brought the connection between units, technology enterprises, and associations, at the same time, spreading the value of artistic inspiration, applying technology in art towards comprehensive, synchronous and sustainable development in the digital age for the young generation of UEH students and guests.

The ArtTech Fusion 2022 international conference, with more than 16 events, seminars, discussion sessions, and exhibitions, has contributed to the overall success of UEH's Ready for Next 2022 activity series. ArtTech Fusion 2022 has successfully brought sustainable connection and inspiration to technology businesses such as Samsung, Wacom, NC soft Vietnam, Xon Xao studio, Ulsan Korea Museum, Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association, and famous designers such as Quynh Paris, Maria Thuy Ngan, Designer Le Minh Phu, Designer Nguyen Binh An...

The first highlight of ArtTech Fusion 2022 is the birth of ArtTech Fusion Hub on December 4. This network connects schools, experts, businesses, domestic and international management agencies, solving urban and industry issues based on technology and art elements, aiming for sustainable development. With a practical destination, the current ArtTech Fusion Hub network has attracted the attention and participation of many strategic partners such as: Kwangwoon University, Seo Kyong University, Ulsan City Art Museum, SeoCho district, NC Soft, University of Seoul, Handong University, Vietnam News Agency, Vietnam Startup Club, Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association.

Followed was discussion sessions with many prominent topics revolving around technology and art, including:

Discussion session with the topic of AR and Arit platform: with the participation of Panelists who are Co-founders of Arit shared about the use of AR technology and Arit platform with UEH students. Motivating and inspiring inquiry and creativity in communication design to students.
Discussion session with the topic of Eco Fashion: helping listeners understand and be aware of the sustainable use of fashion associated with the development of the community in general and the fashion industry in particular, the links of ideas and principles materials, and many other production stages in the sustainable fashion value chain.
Discussion session with the topic of Game design market and digital Art: providing a broad and fresh look at the game design market, digital art in the technology age.
Discussion session with the topic of Glocal Fashion: academic exchange on building global fashion brands and local fashion brands, how to start-up with fast and strong domestic fashion brands.
Discussion session on Indigenous Graphic Design Inspiration: spreading inspiration about graphic design.
Discussion session with the topic of Innovative and Sustainable Fashion: sharing about sustainable fashion development, and fashion development trends similar to the development orientation of the School of Media Design on the strategy of opening the fashion industry in 2023.
Discussion session with the topic of Virtual human in life: academic exchange on the present and future of artificial intelligence (AI), the application of AI in creating a "virtual human" - the trend of the world how is it now? What are the opportunities and challenges of virtual humans in the future? What technologies can we apply to virtual people, and how can we change the world?
Seminar on Indigego Dyeing: using indigo glue for traditional dyeing in the Dao ethnic group to approach sustainable fashion, orienting smart consumers and taking sustainable actions.

A special artistic mark within the framework of ArtTech Fusion 2022 must mention the appearance of the Ulsan Museum exhibition with world-famous ArtTech works from the Ulsan Art Museum, Korea for the first time at UEH. This brings the opportunity to experience impressive art for many visitors.

The Classical Music Concert, “New York Classical Music Society, Celebrates” organized by UEH in collaboration with the New York Classical Music Association - Asia for 2 nights on December 8 and 9 successfully brought a gathering space connecting emotions - people - life with symphonic music performed by world-famous artists. Besides, the music night was also a meaningful activity when taking place on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea.

The two concerts attracted a lot of attention and enthusiastic response from more than 1800 spectators, partners, officials, lecturers, and students of UEH. The world-famous symphonies performed under the artist's talents brought eloquent, exciting, and joyful moments to the entire auditorium.

Believing that music will be an inspiration, heal each person's inner wounds, relieve stress and lead a balanced life, through this program UEH has spread artistic values to everyone in the UEH community, from learners, former learners, officials, former officials, individuals, organizations, partners, etc. who have always accompanied UEH for the goal of sustainable development during the past time.

Classical Concert “New York Classical Music Society Celebrates” at UEH

The Fashion Show event with the theme "The Wow factor" - The element of surprise and mystery in sustainable fashion is also a new highlight in the ArtTech Fusion 2022 seminar series. This is an impressive fashion show held for the first time at UEH with a multi-disciplinary, multi-object connection mindset, a synergy of many sectors of society. The show introduced collections from world-class designer Quynh Paris (Top 5 in Asia, Top 10 in America, European fashion pioneer) and young Vietnamese designers such as Le Minh Phu, Nguyen Binh An, and Maria Thuy Ngan to spread the message: "Connection, creativity towards sustainable development". The event aimed to bring a new fashion "wave" in line with world fashion trends to the public, business people, and other strata of society. On the other hand, this was also a place to connect international and Vietnamese fashion designers, connecting fashion shows and applied fashion for both adults and children. From November 2022, the event has attracted nearly 100 UEH students and universities in Ho Chi Minh City to cast and share, attracting international students to participate.

Besides, exhibitions are spreading meaningful messages to the community. More than 60 works from Art Camp and the ArtCamp contest have made a strong impression on visitors regarding product quality, artistic value, and meaning of conveying the message of “building a sustainable lifestyle in the digital age”.

The application of modern technology to artworks has successfully brought impressive and exciting experiences to visitors through the Xon Xao exhibition. With more than 33 graphic design works taken from the idea of "Saigon's turmoil", using AR (augmented reality) applications has contributed to increasing public awareness about the use of technology in contemporary art.

In addition, a number of other outstanding exhibitions also attracted the attention of many people such as Art World in Digital Painting exhibition to increase awareness and inspire viewers about digital painting technology; Digital Art Exhibition helps to increase awareness and inspire viewers about digital-based art; Game Art exhibition helps to increase awareness and inspire viewers about Game and art. These exhibitions have received the companionship and sponsorship of Samsung, Wacom, and NC Soft.
