2026 Ceremony for the Announcement and Presentation of Professional Title Appointment Decisions

In accordance with Plan No. 1961/KH-ĐHKT-PTTCNL dated May 28, 2026, regarding the organization of the 2026 professional title promotion review, and based on the Government's regulations on the recruitment, employment, and management of public employees, together with the circulars prescribing professional title standards, the UEH Professional Title Promotion Review Council conducted the review process in a rigorous, transparent, and objective manner.

Based on the appraisal results, the President of UEH issued decisions appointing professional titles to 129 public employees who met the required criteria under UEH's authority, while completing the dossier for submission to the Ministry of Education and Training for consideration of the appointment to the title of Senior Lecturer (Grade I) for 01 public employee.

The ceremony was attended by: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Quang Hung – Secretary of the Party Committee and President of UEH; Dr. Dinh Cong Khai – Vice President of UEH; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong – Chairman of the Strategic Development Council; Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh – Chairman of the Academic and Training Council; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trong Hoai – Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Asian Journal of Economics and Business Research; members of the 2026 Professional Title Promotion Review Council; leaders of UEH's member colleges, campuses, departments, faculties, institutes, and centers; together with 130 faculty and staff members who were honored to receive their 2026 professional title appointment decisions.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Quang Hung, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong, and Dr. Dinh Cong Khai presented the appointment decisions for the title of Senior Lecturer to Dr. Tran Anh Hoa – Vice Rector of the College of Business (COB), and Dr. Lam Thi Truc Linh – Head of the Office of Science Management and Learning Resources, UEH Mekong.

Prof. Dr. Bui Quang Hung, Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh, and Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trong Hoai presented the appointment decisions for the title of Principal Specialist to M.A. Duong Minh Man – Head of the Office of Organization and Human Resources Development, and M.A. Nguyen Van Duong – Deputy Head in charge of the Office of Learner Services.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Quang Hung, Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh, and Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trong Hoai presented the appointment decision for the title of Principal Accountant to M.A. Tran Hoang Tam – Head of the Office of Finance and Investment Planning.

Representing the lecturers appointed to the title of Principal Lecturer, Dr. Dang Huu Phuc expressed his honor at receiving the appointment. He shared that this recognition acknowledges the dedication invested in teaching and research, while also serving as motivation for lecturers to continue strengthening their professional expertise, upholding their sense of responsibility, and contributing to UEH's development in the new stage.

Representing the administrative staff appointed to the title of Principal Specialist, M.A. Luu My Ngoc – Head of Communications and Branding, Office of Communications and Partnerships, shared: “Being appointed to the title of Principal Specialist today is not merely a recognition of the efforts made by our faculty and staff over the years. More importantly, it reflects UEH's trust in us and its confidence in assigning us greater responsibilities. On behalf of the administrative staff, I would like to affirm our commitment to continue serving with dedication, constantly learning, embracing innovation, and contributing wholeheartedly to the University's sustainable development.”

Congratulating the faculty and staff members on their professional title appointments in 2026, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Quang Hung emphasized that the appointment of professional titles is not only recognition of each individual's dedication and achievements, but also comes with new responsibilities in teaching, research, and university governance. He expressed his expectation that the appointed faculty and staff would continue fostering innovation, strengthening professional expertise, and promoting UEH's core values, thereby contributing to the realization of the University's strategic objectives. On this occasion, the President of UEH also presented the findings of the Trait-Map survey conducted among 700 UEH faculty and staff members. The results highlighted the University's outstanding strengths in academic capability, analytical thinking, and data- and science-driven problem-solving. Based on these findings, he expressed his confidence in the team's leadership role in implementing UEH's new strategic missions and called for greater solidarity and unity across the University, particularly emphasizing the pioneering role of leaders of colleges, faculties, and institutes in inspiring and strengthening their teams.
