Looking Back at 2025: A Brilliant Journey of UEH Youth!

Concluding the year 2025, UEH youth left their mark with many outstanding and meaningful activities and programs, contributing to creating memorable highlights in the work of the Youth Union - Student Association and the UEH student movement. In order to summarize and evaluate the results achieved, on the afternoon of March 8, 2026, the Conference to Summarize UEH Youth Union - Student Association Work and Student Movement - UEH Youth Awards 2025 Award Ceremony officially took place in Hall A.116.

Overview of the Conference to summarize UEH Youth Union - Student Association work and the UEH Youth Awards 2025 Award Ceremony

Attending the ceremony, from UEH leadership, were: Prof. Dr. Nguyen Khac Quoc Bao – Secretary of the UEH Party Committee; Dr. Nguyen Thien Duy – Standing Member of the Party Committee, Head of the Party - Union Office. From UEH Youth Union - Student Association, attending were: M.A. Nguyen Thi Thuong Nho – Secretary of the UEH Youth Union; Comrade Tran Huu Loc – Deputy Secretary – Chairman of the UEH Youth Union Inspection Committee; and Comrade Nguyen Huu Tien – Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union – President of the UEH Student Association. Additionally, the program also saw the participation of comrades who are members of the Executive Committee of the UEH Youth Union - Student Association, Heads/Deputy Heads of Professional Committees, the collective Executive Committees of the Youth Union - Student Association of Faculties/Institutes/Inter-Institutes/Dormitories, the collective Boards of Directors, Executive Boards of Clubs/Teams/Groups, and Executive Committees of Youth Union Branches and Student Association Branches.

At the Conference, M.A. Nguyen Thi Thuong Nho, on behalf of the UEH Youth Union Standing Committee, evaluated the results of Youth Union - Student Association activities in 2025, while outlining key tasks for 2026.

The highlight of 2025 was the creativity and innovation in UEH Youth Union - Student Association activities. Many new programs were implemented, bringing practical value to students. The UEH Youth Union - Student Association continuously innovated its methods of implementation and activity organization; at the same time, it promoted the application of online media and digital technology in operational management. With that spirit, she also shared the orientations, challenges, and expectations for Youth Union - Student Association work in 2026, focusing on several key contents:

- Emphasizing the role of UEH Youth Union - Student Association cadres and the activities to be organized towards celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment and development of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (October 27, 1976 – October 27, 2026) ;

- Promoting learning and scientific research activities among students towards sustainability, approaching international standards; at the same time, focusing on standardizing English proficiency in academics;

- Continuing to promote the effectiveness of technology and digital transformation in Youth Union work, while ensuring a harmonious combination of technological solutions and direct interaction among the cadre team;

- Implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo, promoting the pioneering and creative role of UEH youth in innovation, digital transformation, and enhancing digital skills for students.

On behalf of UEH leadership, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Khac Quoc Bao sent congratulations and acknowledged the outstanding achievements that UEH Youth Union - Student Association attained in 2025. He highly appreciated the pioneering spirit of the Youth Union - Student Association cadre team in organizing many meaningful activities that brought practical value to students. Additionally, the speech also emphasized the important role of the Youth Union - Student Association in nurturing and developing the young generation; at the same time, shared several orientations to improve operational effectiveness in the coming time, along with considerations regarding the qualities and responsibilities of Youth Union - Student Association cadres. Notably, he emphasized the significance of activities towards the 50th anniversary of the establishment and development of UEH (October 27, 1976 – October 27, 2026) – an important milestone in the university's development journey.

In order to implement the Youth Union work program and UEH youth movement for 2026, while also aiming towards the 50th anniversary of its establishment and development, the UEH Youth Union Standing Committee officially launched the 2026 Youth Month with the theme "UEH Youth Innovating the Union's Operational Methods". This is expected to be an opportunity for UEH youth to continue promoting their pioneering, creative, dedicated, and responsible spirit through volunteer activities and community-oriented movements.

At the program, the UEH Youth Union Standing Committee – UEH Student Association Secretariat honored and presented the UEH Youth Awards 2025 to 72 collectives with outstanding achievements, while also rewarding units that achieved high rankings in various award categories.
