Sharing from the side of A&C Consulting Co., Ltd., Mr. Nguyễn Ngọc Thành - General Director of A&C Consulting Co., Ltd. affirmed: "Baker Tilly A&C greatly values the opportunity to cooperate with the College of Economics, Law and Government - CELG, particularly in bringing together our strength in hands-on experience and the College’s extensive research capacity. We expect that the cooperation for the 2026–2029 period will not stop at training activities, but will also extend to applied research, knowledge sharing and the development of fields that are placing many new demands on businesses, such as ESG, sustainable development and the carbon market".
In addition, A&C wishes to work with CELG to develop training programmes and certificates with an international dimension and to strengthen connections with reputable professional bodies, thereby giving learners a stronger knowledge base and capabilities suited to both the domestic and international markets. As part of the programme, following a summary presentation of the core contents of the MOU and the MOA delivered by MSc. Đỗ Hoàng Minh, the leaders of the three units held a lively professional discussion session focusing on 4 priorities for implementation:
Developing international sustainability certificates: Proposing the development of co-branded training courses with an international dimension; while also considering a co-certification model between CELG and international organisations, similar to the in-depth training programme on International Financial Reporting Standards (CertIFR) jointly organised by the Vietnam Association of Certified Public Accountants (VACPA) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
Integrating research data with business practice: Combining the School of Economics’ capacity for research on industry ratios (profit margins, supply and demand, markup) with A&C’s advisory activities, in order to help businesses save on the cost of purchasing data and increase transparency.
Restructuring and M&A in the real estate sector: Expanding partnerships in real estate M&A; while also promoting substantial restructuring and building sets of benchmarks suited to market conditions.
Bringing experts into the classroom: Integrating real-world case studies and proposing that A&C experts take part directly in teaching, conveying hands-on knowledge - especially in business valuation for M&A purposes - directly to students of the Investment Economics programme.
The MOU and MOA signing ceremony was a success, providing a solid professional foundation for CELG, the School of Economics and Baker Tilly A&C to work together in creating value. The event not only realises the goal of narrowing the gap between the University and industry, but also affirms UEH’s strong commitment to training a generation of well-rounded professionals, ready to adapt to the digital era and a sustainable economy.
