Nearly 4,400 Doctoral, Master’s, and Bachelor’s degree graduates of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City completed their studies in the second cohort of 2025 – A young generation continuing the mission of shaping the nation’s future.

The UEH 2025 Graduation Ceremony was honored to welcome the presence of: Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong – Chair of the University Council; Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh – President; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Khac Quoc Bao – Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Quang Hung – Vice President; Dr. Dinh Cong Khai – Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Thi Bich Nguyet – Chair of the Strategic and Policy Advisory Council; the Boards of Rectors of UEH’s member colleges; Professors, Associate Professors, Doctors; and Heads and Deputy Heads of UEH-affiliated units and member colleges.
Particularly noteworthy was the attendance of nearly 4,400 new Doctoral, Master’s, and Bachelor’s degree holders, together with their parents, families, and friends.
Overview of the Second Graduation Ceremony of 2025
Congratulating the achievements of the new Doctoral, Master’s, and Bachelor’s degree holders, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong – Chair of the University Council – shared: “Over nearly 50 years of establishment and development, along with relentless efforts in participating in international rankings and accreditations, UEH has grown into a prestigious multidisciplinary and multi-field university, recognized as one of the leading institutions in Vietnam and increasingly affirming its position in the international education market, effectively meeting the development needs of society. Officially graduating from the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, our new Doctors, Masters, and Bachelors are not only well-equipped with professional expertise but have also excellently mastered foreign language and information technology skills. They will be a high-quality workforce, ready to accompany the nation towards the goal of sustainable development.”

The second graduation ceremony of 2025 at UEH celebrated the official graduation of 4,395 learners, including 06 new Doctors, 538 new Masters, 2,942 new Full-time Bachelor’s degree holders from Ho Chi Minh City Campus and UEH Mekong, 511 new Bachelor’s degree holders and 88 new Master’s degree holders from the ISB.BBUS Talented Bachelor Program, and 310 Part-time Bachelor’s degree holders. The new Doctors and Masters of UEH have demonstrated outstanding professional competence, expanded the scope of their research, and acquired interdisciplinary knowledge in economics. They have applied new technologies in their fields of expertise while making dedicated efforts to enhance their English proficiency, enabling them to broaden research horizons, engage in academic exchange, publish internationally, and integrate into the global community.

Through their dedicated academic journey, in addition to a solid foundation of professional knowledge, UEH’s new Bachelor’s degree holders have successfully fulfilled and achieved high results in essential skill requirements, including:
The IC3 (Internet and Computing Core Certification) International Certificate – an internationally recognized credential assessing knowledge and ability in computer use, software applications, and the Internet, issued by Certiport (USA), valid indefinitely and accepted worldwide.
International English proficiency certificates such as TOEIC, IELTS, VPET, TOEFL iBT, among others.
Notably, this graduation ceremony also marks the maturation of students from the first cohort of newly introduced academic programs, such as Architecture and Smart Urban Design, and integrated dual-degree programs including Agribusiness and International Business; Agribusiness and Logistics & Supply Chain Management; and Insurance and Finance. The presence of these graduates from interdisciplinary fields is a testament to UEH’s strategic direction in innovating its academic programs to meet international standards.
