New UEH Publications Alert (Week 2 – June 2026): Expanding Interdisciplinary Horizons from Digital Finance and Artificial Intelligence to Engineering Sciences

15 Jun, 2026

In Week 2 - June 2026, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) continued to record an impressive series of international publications, reflecting its increasingly robust interdisciplinary research capacity. This week's academic landscape highlights the strong integration of economics, management, technology, social sciences, and applied sciences to address pressing global sustainable development challenges.

Keeping Pace with Emerging Trends through Frontier Research Topics

From an academic perspective, UEH scholars have effectively applied and advanced several prominent international theoretical frameworks, including Meaning Transfer Theory, theories of green absorptive capacity, green innovation, and emerging perspectives on Artificial Intelligence (AI) communication.

A notable highlight of this week's research portfolio is UEH's focus on highly relevant and contemporary issues that directly reflect the evolution of the digital economy and sustainable development:

- Digital Finance and Real Estate: Investigating investor preferences toward tokenized real estate in emerging markets and examining how green banking practices contribute to environmental performance.

- Technology and Management: Unpacking the impact of fake news on consumer behaviour and social media engagement, while exploring the strategic role of AI-mediated communication and AI-enabled customer relationship management systems.

- International Economics and Green Innovation: Assessing the relationship between trade and sustainability within Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and examining how green innovation capability influences firm value across ASEAN economies under varying ESG and energy transition contexts.

- Advanced Engineering Sciences: Extending UEH's research boundaries into specialised engineering domains through studies on multibody dynamic modelling for industrial drilling systems and mathematical modelling of wave equations in double-wall carbon nanotubes.

Advancing Knowledge through Rigorous Methodologies and Mathematical Modelling

UEH's comprehensive research capability is further demonstrated through the application of diverse and sophisticated analytical approaches. The studies employed a wide range of contemporary methods, including:

- Econometric and Statistical Models: Applying discrete choice modelling, Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM), and the Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) to examine complex behavioural and organisational phenomena.

- Engineering and Mathematical Modelling: Developing multibody dynamic simulations and advanced mathematical models to address practical problems in engineering and materials science.

The integration of micro-level behavioural data, firm-level information, and multinational datasets illustrates a research ecosystem that not only upholds rigorous international academic standards but also generates meaningful practical implications for businesses, policymakers, and society.

Creating Knowledge and Supporting Global Transformation

Overall, this week's publications further reinforce UEH's position as a reputable interdisciplinary research university. Beyond enriching the global body of scientific knowledge, these scholarly efforts actively contribute to digital transformation, green innovation, and the resolution of complex socio-economic challenges in an increasingly volatile global landscape.
