New UEH Publications Alert (Week 3 - June 2026): Interdisciplinary Breakthroughs in Green Finance, Digital Technologies, and Applied Engineering

25 Jun, 2026

In Week 3 - June 2026, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) continued to achieve an impressive series of international publications, reaffirming its expanding interdisciplinary research capacity. The latest studies demonstrate the University's ability to integrate economics, management, digital technologies, social sciences, and engineering to address emerging challenges in sustainable governance, digital transformation, and innovation.

Exploring Contemporary Issues Through Robust Theoretical Foundations

From an academic perspective, UEH researchers successfully applied and extended several influential theoretical frameworks, including the Natural Resource-Based View (NRBV), Psychological Ownership Theory, Behavioral Finance, and Knowledge Management.

In particular, UEH's research ecosystem addressed a wide range of timely global issues:

  • - Green Finance & Carbon Markets: Examining the effectiveness of carbon taxes and emissions trading systems (ETS) in mitigating environmental degradation, while exploring how green finance influences herding behavior in cryptocurrency markets.
  • - Digital Technologies & Artificial Intelligence: Investigating the strategic role of AI and blockchain in creating sustainable organizational value, alongside studies on users' perceptions of AI-generated content on social media platforms.
  • - Corporate Governance & Higher Education: Assessing how sustainable core values enhance corporate sustainability performance, examining determinants of banking liquidity risk, and investigating student engagement, learning outcomes, well-being, and overall satisfaction in higher education.
  • - Consumer Behavior & Branding: Providing new insights into the role of psychological ownership in shaping brand hate and consumer responses within Vietnam's automotive market.

Advancing Research Through Diverse Methodologies

UEH researchers continued to demonstrate strong methodological capabilities by employing a wide range of advanced analytical approaches, including:

  • - Advanced Quantitative Models: Moderated mediation analysis, Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), and Quantile-on-Quantile Regression using multinational panel datasets.
  • - Qualitative and Experimental Research: Case studies, scenario-based survey designs, and qualitative analyses of consumer behavior in digital environments.
  • - Enterprise, Market, and National-Level Data Analysis: Integrating firm-level, financial, survey, and cross-country datasets to generate robust empirical evidence with practical implications.

The combination of quantitative, qualitative, and multi-source data reinforces UEH's commitment to international research standards while delivering valuable insights for businesses, policymakers, and society.

Creating Knowledge, Driving Sustainable Transformation

Overall, this week's publications further strengthen UEH's position as a leading interdisciplinary research university. Beyond contributing to global scientific knowledge, these studies generate practical implications for digital transformation, green transition, innovation, and sustainable development, reaffirming UEH's commitment to addressing contemporary global challenges through impactful research.
