New UEH Publications Alert (Week 3 – May 2026): Advancing Interdisciplinary Thinking Towards Green Transition and Sustainable Development

27 May, 2026

Week 3 - May 2026, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) continues to record an impressive series of international publications, demonstrating its increasingly expansive interdisciplinary research capacity. By closely integrating economics, management, technology, behavioral sciences, and engineering, this week’s studies addressed a wide range of issues spanning supply chain management, information systems, psychology, and environmental technologies.

Applying Contemporary Theories to Real-World Contexts

Academically, UEH scholars have effectively applied and extended internationally recognized theoretical frameworks such as Task–Technology Fit, the Expectation Confirmation Model, Experiential Learning, and Green Innovation.

The studies not only align with global academic trends but also strongly reflect the realities of emerging economies such as Vietnam, focusing on several timely issues:

- Green transition & environmental technology: Examining the impact of green information systems on environmental performance; pioneering microbial technologies for wastewater treatment combined with sustainable electricity generation; and promoting sustainable tea production in Vietnam’s Central Highlands.

- Consumer behavior & marketing: Investigating the role of green gamification in promoting green electronic word-of-mouth (green eWOM); exploring emotions and green purchasing behavior among university students; and integrating mindfulness into psychology and organizational well-being research.

- Markets & optimization governance: Analyzing bargaining behavior in opaque real estate markets; optimizing emergency relief logistics networks; and examining the impact of political competition environments and corporate investment efficiency.

Education & human resources: Evaluating learner motivation and career intentions in hospitality and tourism education; applying AI and Machine Learning in predicting academic performance and digital user behavior.

Pioneering Comprehensive Empirical Methodologies

UEH researchers continue to demonstrate strong research capabilities through diverse experimental designs and advanced analytical techniques:

Micro-data analysis & behavioral models: Applying mediation–moderation models, sentiment analysis, topic modeling, and technology user behavior frameworks.

Data science & computational technologies: Implementing Deep Learning, CNN, Bi-LSTM, Machine Learning, and intelligent robotic systems in engineering and biomedical research.

Optimization & mathematical modeling: Utilizing science mapping, logistics optimization models, spatial models, and advanced mathematical techniques in energy, urban development, and supply chain studies.

This methodological integration demonstrates a comprehensive research foundation that not only ensures academic rigor but also generates meaningful practical value for businesses and society.

Creating Knowledge and Driving Change

Overall, this week’s publications further reinforce UEH’s position as a reputable and internationally integrated interdisciplinary research university. UEH continues to generate impactful knowledge for the global scientific community while contributing practical implications for innovation, green transition, and sustainable development in a rapidly changing world.
