New UEH Publications Alert (Week 5 – July 2026): Interdisciplinary Breakthroughs from Technological Innovation to Sustainable Development

05 Aug, 2026

In Week 5 of July 2026, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) continued to achieve a series of outstanding international publications, reflecting its expanding interdisciplinary research capacity in addressing global challenges. The publications released during the week demonstrate the strong integration of economics, management, technology, data science, and social sciences, contributing both academic insights and practical solutions to advance digital transformation, green transition, and sustainable development.

Exploring Contemporary Issues Through Modern Theoretical Frameworks

From an academic perspective, UEH researchers continue to effectively apply and advance a number of important international theoretical frameworks, including Legitimacy Theory, technology acceptance models, Ethical Leadership, sustainable governance, and consumer behavior.

Notably, UEH's research ecosystem has actively explored a wide range of contemporary topics that directly reflect the shifting dynamics of the global economy:

  • - Environmental Economics & Green Transition: Examining the relationship between economic growth, renewable energy, and governance quality; assessing the impact of environmental taxes on energy poverty; investigating corporate purpose transformation toward sustainable development and the advancement of ESG governance.
  • - Digital Transformation & Emerging Technologies: Exploring the role of digital marketing in small and medium-sized enterprises; analyzing the influence of micro-influencers throughout the consumer decision-making journey; studying the adoption of humanoid robots in the hospitality industry and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions for smart agriculture.
  • - Finance, Governance & Public Policy: Assessing the impact of monetary policy on corporate investment; examining bancassurance adoption, CEO–employee pay gaps, the influence of e-government on income inequality, and the role of anti-corruption in fostering entrepreneurial intentions among younger generations.

International Standards Through Advanced Empirical Methodologies

UEH's comprehensive research capability continues to be demonstrated through the application of diverse advanced analytical methods and the effective utilization of large-scale datasets. The published studies combine a wide range of approaches, including:

  • - Econometrics & Quantitative Analysis: Applying panel data models with Fixed Effects, Principal Component Analysis (PCA), System GMM, Three-Stage Least Squares (3SLS), multivariate regression, and other advanced analytical methods for large-scale datasets.
  • - Data Science & Applied Technologies: Implementing Machine Learning for multi-label classification, Internet of Things (IoT), Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) algorithms, and intelligent control models to optimize energy efficiency, manufacturing, and service performance.

The integration of enterprise, national, and consumer datasets with advanced computational models has established a research foundation that ensures academic rigor while generating practical value for businesses, managers, and policymakers.

Creating Knowledge, Advancing the Twin Transition

Overall, this week's publications continue to reinforce UEH's position as a leading interdisciplinary research university in the region. Beyond contributing to the global body of scientific knowledge, these studies directly support digital transformation, green transition, innovation, and sustainable development, while addressing critical socio-economic challenges in a rapidly changing world.
