On the occasion of Spring Bính Ngọ 2026 - the year marking the 50th anniversary of the establishment and development of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (1976-2026) - the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of UEH respectfully extend to all UEH staff members, employees, learners, and their families our warmest New Year wishes for health, happiness, peace, and success.

The year 2026 holds special significance for UEH, marking half a century of continuous formation, construction, and development. From its early days following national reunification, UEH has steadily grown and affirmed its role as a key national university. Today, the University is rising strongly with its positioning as a multidisciplinary and sustainable institution, enjoying growing academic prestige both regionally and on the global higher education map.
This 50-year journey has been shaped by the dedication, intellect, and enduring contributions of generations of lecturers, staff members, employees, learners, and partners - UEHers who have come together to build the identity, values, and brand of UEH today. It is a journey driven by the aspiration for knowledge, the spirit of innovation, commitment, and service to the development of Ho Chi Minh City and the nation.
As UEH enters the New Year Bính Ngọ 2026 - the opening year of a new strategic development phase - the University remains firmly committed to its core pillars of Training, Research, Governance, Operations, and Community Engagement. UEH continues to promote university autonomy, innovation, and sustainable transformation, while accelerating efforts to realize its aspiration of becoming a multidisciplinary, sustainable university with regional influence in Asia, making practical contributions to society and the future of generations of learners.
