New Year Wishes from the Party Committee, University Council, Board of Directors of UEH

On the occasion of the New Year of the Rabbit 2023, the Party Committee, the University Council, and the Board of Directors of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) would like to wish all officials, employees, retired lecturers, alumni, students and learners a new year full of health, happiness and success.

The past 2022 continues to be an important year in the 47-year journey of UEH's establishment and development, with the first implementation of the Multidisciplinary and Sustainable University model and the first year of 3 member colleges. With the collective efforts of leaders, officials and employees, UEH maintains its inherent development momentum and achieves very encouraging results in training, research, community connection, operation, and university administration.

Proud to have the achievement of increase 150 places, entering the top 401+ of the best universities in Asia according to the QS Asia Ranking 2023, and officially achieving the strategic goals for the period of 2020-2030 along with other prestigious positions in international rakings; JABES officially entered SCOPUS with a high index of academic influence and was recommended for Class B in the ABDC category; The Innovation Incubator of the Institute of Innovation (UII) has created one of the Top 10 incubators of Southeast Asia, with more than 500 articles published in prestigious international journals in the category of Web of Science, Scopus, ABDC. In 2022, UEH has also successfully organized many scientific conferences and international activities with the participation of many leading domestic and international experts and scientists,... Especially, UEH has been accredited as an educational institution with 05 training programs according to the international quality accreditation standards FIBAA (Europe). All are important prerequisites to ensure the success of UEH with the goal of internationalization and strengthening its academic reputation in the international arena, ready for the transformation of UEH into a Multidisciplinary and Sustainable University.

In addition are activities, missions of retired employees, alumni, trainees and UEH students, creating, administering, operating, and connecting the plating community also achieved positive results with the achievement of most of the OKRs; development of start-up and innovation consulting activities; continue to perfect modern materials; UEH Day program and a series of activities with the theme Ready for Next 2022;...

These results are achieved thanks to the leadership, attention, encouragement, and support of the Ministry of Education and Training, the City Party Committee, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, the Party Committee of Universities and Colleges of Ho Chi Minh City; as well as the creative spirit, efforts, solidarity and love of all leaders, lecturers, officials, employees, students and learners over the periods, the support of UEH's partners domestically and abroad along with the values that have been accumulated over time.

On the occasion of the New Year of the Rabbit 2023, the Party Committee, University Council, and Board of Directors of UEH called on all UEHers to promote the spirit of dynamism, creativity and solidarity together to turn UEH into a Multidisciplinary and Sustainable University, having an academic reputation in Asia and spreading intellectual values towards the sustainable development of the community.
