Opening ceremony of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Training Course for Vietnam Rubber Industry Group 2024

On the morning of May 13, 2024, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) in coordination with Vietnam Rubber Group (VRG) solemnly organized the Opening Ceremony of "CEO Training Course – CEO VRG2024” for learners from Vietnam Rubber Group. This was an activity under the frame of the MoU on training and fostering human resources between the two parties.

Attending the Opening Ceremony, on behalf of UEH, there was the presence of Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the University Council; Prof.Dr. Su Dinh Thanh - University Director; Mr. Truong Minh Kiet - Head of Department of Marketing and Communication; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Quang Huy - Deputy Head of the Department of Undergraduate Training - Lecturer of the training course, and Mr. Nguyen Hoang Son - Deputy Head of Department of Undergraduate Training.

On behalf of Vietnam Rubber Group side, there was the attendance of Dr. Tran Cong Kha - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Group's Board of Directors; Mr. Ha Van Khuong - Permanent Deputy Secretary, Member of the Group's Board of Directors; Mr. Nguyen Cuu Tue - Head of the Group's Organization and Personnel Department; Mr. Vu Tien Hoang Dao - Deputy Head of the Group's Organization and Personnel Department along with learners of the training course CEO VRG2024.

Opening the course Prof.Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong - Chairman of the University Council - stated: "Implementing the MoU between University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam Rubber Group, in March 2024, UEH coordinated with the group to open a training course for senior managers of Vietnam Rubber Group. With its role and strengths and the group's active cooperation, today, UEH in collaboration with Vietnam Rubber Group continues to open the training course "CEO VRG 2024" for Vietnam Rubber Group. Learners who meet the requirements will be awarded a course completion certificate from UEH that is valid nationwide. All learners should try their best to study and stay concentrated to achieve good results, and especially to apply their acquired knowledge to leadership in their units. I hope to see them at the course-ending session."

Representing VRG, Dr. Tran Cong Kha - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Rubber Group – shared: "In recent years, Vietnam Rubber Group has focused on training and fostering managers the important stage in staff work so as to gradually improve the management and administration capacity of staff at all levels, allowing management staff to develop and improve their qualifications and skills to perform well the assigned work and tasks. In order to build a team of successive officials, training and fostering adequate management knowledge is a requirement and standard when considering and reappointing officials as requested. Therefore, the Group decided to coordinate with UEH to organize a training program for Chief Executive Officers (CEO). Through this training program, the Group's leaders expect it to be a channel to connect and share rich knowledge and valuable experience of experts in many socio-economic fields and absorb success stories of typical domestic and foreign enterprises, especially in the stage of business administration, management, and operation. UEH has selectively taught the most focused, practical and important content in the fields of science, economics, business, administration, management, and law as well as how to apply management skills, thinking, and vision in leadership, direction, and implementation of the classroom to contribute to improving the professional level of learners, their applications to work practice, and the efficiency and development of the Group.”

"The training course CEO VRG 2024" - Vietnam Rubber Group leaders of departments/divisions and of member units under VRG. The course consists of 3 parts, 17 topics organized for 3 consecutive weeks (morning and afternoon) in the form of face-to-face study at UEH from May 13 to June 1, 2024. At the end of each section, students will take a multiple-choice test. At the end of the course, students who meet the requirements will be issued a course completion certificate by UEH.
