In an era where people are central to the smart city model, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trinh Tu Anh - Dean of the Institute of Smart City and Management, presented a strategy on “Building a Sustainable Smart City: Prioritizing People, Leveraging Technology, and Integrating Local Factors.” The research found that a multi-stakeholder collaboration model (government, businesses, universities, research institutions, and communities) is the foundation for building a sustainable smart life, with citizens playing a central, proactive role in management and development. Based on this, the strategy proposes a framework for smart city development in HCMC, with goals for 2030 aimed at building a sustainable city, developing a knowledge-based economy, strengthening digital infrastructure, improving public service quality, and enhancing citizen satisfaction.
