Outstanding activities/ events of UEH in 2022

2022 is the year that witnessed outstanding achievements and the transformation of UEH into a Multidisciplinary and Sustainable University. With the wise, flexible, and constantly innovative direction of the Board of Directors; the efforts, solidarity, and consensus of the collective of officials and employees, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) has achieved many positive and remarkable results in training, scientific research, and management activities. Let's look back at 10 special activities/events of UEH and congratulate the school on its achievements in 2022 toward a Multidisciplinary and Sustainable University!

1. UEH is officially recognized as Top 401+ Asian best universities according to QS Asia Rankings 2023

2. 5 programs of UEH are accredited to the educational-institution-level European FIBAA standard

3. UEH is recognized as the Top 1 best university in Vietnam according to U-Multirank

4. JABES is officially indexed in SCOPUS with a high h-index and nominated as B in ABDC

5. UEH continues to implement and accomplish digitalization and facility transformation activities with the aim of bringing new values to serving learners such as the online testing system, the authenticated electronic document service, electronic certificates granting, integrated learner/ partner-caring and managing system, the knowledge storage on CRM system, launching the online shopping website for the community, inaugurating a sport complex at Nguyen Van Linh Campus, UEH Mekong Hotel at Vinh Long Campus, refurbishing Campus D - 196 Tran Quang Khai, District 1 and Campus E - 54 Nguyen Van Thu, Da Kao Ward, District 1.

6. UEH continues to encourage community-integrated and sustainable activities according to development strategic missions and visions: launching of Giving to UEH program, launching of “UEH Mekong 2030” program, launching of UEH Theatre, launching of the webpage of “Hieu ve ban” - a personality testing and vocational orientation tool, organing the training program of Online teaching design for 477 schools and 2916 teachers at provinces of Mekong River Delta…

7. UEH successfully performs the internationalization process with international cooperation and integration activities: UEH International Day 2022, Memorandum of Understanding between UEH and Portland State University within the frame of the provincial competence-development project sponsored by USAID, International Innovators Award - IIA co-organized by UEH Institute of Innovation and International SEPT Competence Center (Leipzig University), UII gaining top 10 Asean best innovation entrepreneurship supportive organizations (AsiaStar 10x10 Launchpad)

9. UEH completes its leadership system by supplementing 2 new UEH Vice Presidents, awarding Honorary Doctors and Honorary President of College of Technology and Design to Dr. Park Young June, former Secretary of Ministry of Knowledge Economy of South Korea, and launching School of Media Design

10. UEH Day 2022 - A remarkable and successful journey of 800 lecturers, managers, and employees to together create a One UEH culture - Ready for a Multidisciplinary and Sustainable University.
