Professional Fostering and Training Course for Khanh Hoa Inspectorate in 2023

On the morning of August 11, 2023, at the Auditorium of Khanh Hoa Province, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) in collaboration with Khanh Hoa Provincial Inspectorate organized the opening ceremony of the professional fostering and training course for Khanh Hoa Inspectorate in 2023.

Attending the opening ceremony, on behalf of UEH, there were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the UEH Council, Dr. Bui Quang Hung - Vice President of UEH, Dr. Nguyen Thien Duy - Head of UEH Department of Continuing Education. On behalf of Khanh Hoa Provincial Inspectorate, there were Mr. Tran Minh Chien - Chief Inspector of Khanh Hoa Province along with Deputy Chief Inspectors of the Province, Heads of affiliated Departments, 60 students participating in person and more than 80 students participating online from Districts in Cam Ranh and Nha Trang.

Overview of the opening ceremony

The professional fostering and training course for Khanh Hoa Inspectorate in 2023 was organized to improve professional knowledge, experience, and skills in detecting violations in the fields of inspection with the specific requirements: inspectors must closely follow the practices of inspection, there must be discussions with learners about some specific situations and lessons learned in inspection work. It is necessary to evaluate the capacity and professional knowledge of each trainee after completing the course.

The program takes place with many topics, in which the first topic on Construction Planning will be implemented on August 11, 2023, with the main contents revolving around Land-Use Planning, Compensation and Land Clearance, and Construction Planning and Construction Permits held in 4 sessions.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Tran Minh Chien - Chief Inspector of Khanh Hoa Province - stated: "Following the direction of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in Official Dispatch No. 1705/UBND-NC dated February 27, 2023 on the organization of training courses for civil servants doing inspection in order to improve the quality of the civil servants doing inspection, to meet the increasing requirements, and to promptly detect corruption and negativity which are increasingly diverse, sophisticated and complex in today's conditions."

Inspectors of Khanh Hoa Province have discussed and worked with the University of Economics of Ho Chi Minh City many times. In order to develop a specific program for the professional training and fostering course for inspection to be organized, including urban planning, investment project formulation, land use management, public investment management and procurement. Right after the opening ceremony, the first topic in the Provincial Inspection Plan under the Professional Training and Fostering Course for Inspection in 2023 was presented. A total of 141 civil servants and employees participated in the course of which 60 civil servants participated in person and 81 civil servants and employees participated online. Mr. Tran Minh Chien also suggested all civil servants and employees of the whole industry to participate in the course, seriously and actively discuss challenges, problems and inadequacies in working practices, and question UEH experts and lecturers.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong highly appreciated the coordination between Khanh Hoa Provincial Inspectors and UEH, he also stated that the University, in order for the organization to meet the requirements of Khanh Hoa Provincial Inspectors, invited knowledgeable and experienced teachers to lecture, to prepare equipment for classrooms (Hybrid Class System for online learners), and to apply technology in class organization and management. On behalf of the course’s Organizing Committee, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong announced the opening of the Conference on the Professional Fostering and Training Course for Khanh Hoa Inspectorate in 2023. The training conference takes place on Fridays and Saturdays every 2 weeks and ends in early October 2023.
