"READY4CAREER – Mock Interview 2026" Program: An opportunity to experience real-world interviews with corporate experts

27 Aug, 2026

Mock interviewing is an annual activity at UEH designed to help students sharpen their application skills and prepare to enter the labor market. Following previous seasons, "READY4CAREER – Mock Interview 2026" delivers a realistic recruitment experience, where learners directly connect with businesses, receive feedback from experts, and refine their professional skills.

Held over two days, 30 and 31 July 2026, at the UEH Nguyễn Tri Phương campus, the programme brought together more than 40 HR professionals and managers from businesses across a wide range of sectors, including auditing, finance, retail, pharmaceuticals, e-commerce, consumer goods, manufacturing, logistics and consulting.

Accompanying the programme were the following businesses: C.P. Vietnam, ALSUCO, Chailease Vietnam, EY Vietnam, Shopee, DNL HealthCare Group, the Rau Má Mix - Ô Long Châu Milk Tea chain, FPT Long Châu, TOPCV Vietnam, MM Mega Market Vietnam, Dialectica Vietnam, Motives Vietnam, CJ Foods Vietnam, Masan Consumer, TH Food Chain, Forvis Mazars Vietnam and RSM Vietnam, contributing multi-dimensional perspectives for students on recruitment requirements in a constantly changing labour market.

Students take part in a mock interview session with business professionals

As part of the programme, each student took part in interview sessions lasting around 20-30 minutes, simulating businesses’ actual recruitment processes. In addition, the professionals shared a great deal of experience on how to polish an application, build a personal brand and prepare the right mindset for entering a corporate environment. These practical insights helped students better understand recruiters’ expectations and, from there, proactively develop themselves to meet the demands of an increasingly competitive labour market.

Business professionals give direct feedback on each student’s CV, interview answers and career development direction

The atmosphere of the programme became especially lively during the direct exchange sessions between students and the HR professionals. Many learners openly shared their concerns about how to build an application, answer interview questions, choose a suitable working environment, as well as how to plan their career development after graduation.

From the questions and real-life situations raised, the professionals offered a wealth of practical advice, helping students better understand the criteria businesses are looking for in a promising candidate. At the same time, the programme opened up opportunities for learners to connect directly with company representatives, laying the groundwork for future internships, employment and collaboration.

Learners confidently exchange ideas with the professionals in a warm and friendly atmosphere

The programme ran energetically, with many interview sessions held simultaneously in different areas. Students took turns speaking directly with HR professionals, experiencing the recruitment process in a setting that closely simulated the corporate environment. Arranging many interview tables in parallel not only gave learners the opportunity to engage with a diverse range of career fields but also created a hands-on learning space in which students could directly practise their communication skills, critical thinking and ability to respond on the spot to recruiters’ questions.

Finally, commemorative moments between representatives of UEH and the businesses brought to a close a meaningful experience that delivered a great deal of practical value for learners. The involvement of these professionals not only offered practical perspectives on the labour market but also helped create a learning environment that connects the University with industry.

Through the simulated interview sessions, the professional feedback and the open exchanges with recruitment experts, UEH students had the opportunity to see their own capabilities more clearly, refine their application skills and build their confidence before stepping into a real working environment.

After the programme ended, many students shared positive reflections on their mock interview experience with the business professionals:

Đoàn Thị Kim Ngân – final-year student, Commercial Business major: “The programme gave me the chance to experience a real recruitment process and to receive specific comments and guidance from recruiters. I feel this was an extremely professionally organised activity by DSA, bringing together many reputable businesses and delivering a lot of practical value for students, especially those preparing to enter the internship and job-seeking stage.”

Nguyễn Ngọc An – final-year student, Management major: “The programme is very meaningful and necessary for students, especially those preparing to take part in a recruitment process. The list of businesses and the information about each position were provided clearly, making it easy for me to do my research and prepare before the interview. The company representatives were also very friendly, enthusiastic in their support and created a comfortable atmosphere throughout the interview.

Through the mock interview, I had the chance to experience a real interview process and receive useful feedback that helped me recognise my strengths and the skills I need to improve. Thank you to UEH, DSA and the businesses for organising such a practical programme, which brings so much value to students.”

Nguyễn Bảo Linh Đan – first-degree student, Management major: “After the interview, I felt I had clearer direction about the path I want to take and a better understanding of my strengths and what suits me. My interviewer was very confident and professional, and made me feel comfortable during our conversation. In particular, after the interview I learned many useful lessons about how to interview, how to read and assess a CV, as well as a better understanding of which area of work suits me. Thank you for such a meaningful and valuable interview.”

Lê Thị Hoàng Dung – third-year student, E-commerce major: “The mock interview with CJ Foods Vietnam Co., Ltd. was a very positive and useful experience for me. Ms. Yến Ngọc not only created a comfortable, friendly interview atmosphere but was also very enthusiastic in supporting me and sharing a lot of real information about the labour market, career insights and development paths suited to E-commerce students. After the interview section, she also took the time to give specific feedback on the way I answered, the strengths I have and the aspects I need to keep improving in order to perform better in formal interviews. I especially appreciate her openness, dedication and supportive spirit towards candidates. This was not only a mock interview but also something that helped me better understand my own career direction and gain many more practical perspectives for my development journey in the E-commerce field. My sincere thanks to DSA, CJ Foods Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Ms. Yến Ngọc for bringing me such a memorable experience.”

The programme further affirms UEH’s role in accompanying learners on their career development journey, helping to connect businesses with students and build a high-quality workforce ready to meet the demands of the labour market of the future.
