Signing Ceremony of Cooperation between UEH and Hoa Sen Group for the period 2024 - 2027

On the morning of June 26, 2024, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) and Hoa Sen Group signed a cooperation agreement for the period 2024 - 2027, marking a new milestone on the journey of the two sides in the fields of human resource training.

Attending the signing ceremony with UEH, on behalf of Hoa Sen Group, there were Mr. Vu Van Thanh - General Director; Mr. Nguyen Van Thach - Deputy General Director of Hoa Sen Home in charge of Internal Affairs; Mr. Nguyen Quoc Tinh - Deputy General Director of Hoa Sen Home in the South; together with leaders of units under the Group.

On behalf of University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), there were Prof. Su Dinh Thanh - Director of UEH; Assoc. Prof. Bui Thanh Trang - Vice Principal of UEH College of Business; Assoc. Prof. Pham Khanh Nam - Principal of UEH College of Economics, Law and Government; Dr. Thai Kim Phung - Vice Principal of UEH College of Technology and Design; and leaders of UEH Departments and Offices.

Expressing his joy at the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between UEH and Hoa Sen Group, Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh remarked: “The proud achievements that UEH has achieved over the past 50 years, in addition to the internal collective strength, also come from the trust and companionship of partners and businesses for the school. This connection has brought many practical values in training high-quality human resources, fulfilling social responsibilities and spreading knowledge to the community, thereby helping UEH approach the path of integration and world's education. Among these meaningful contributions, it is impossible not to mention Hoa Sen Group as one of the important partners who has always accompanied us through student support programs, recruitment, cultural and sports activities, etc. The signing today is a new milestone for the companionship and close connection between the school and Hoa Sen Group based on the existing sustainable strategic foundation of the two sides, opening up many opportunities for future cooperation in various fields.”

After discussing and agreeing on the directions of operation in the upcoming time, UEH and Hoa Sen Group officially signed a Cooperation Agreement between the two parties with the following contents:

- Connecting practical training with intern programs and business semesters for students; Cooperating in training and sharing knowledge with businesses;

- Connecting recruitment cooperation programs at the Career Fair event series, spreading the recruitment brand of the enterprise, and supporting sourcing programs;

- Joining the program “Giving to UEH – For a More Sustainable Future” to nurture talent and spread knowledge;

- Connecting to conduct research, projects and other exchange and cooperation programs.

UEH and Hoa Sen Group officially signing a cooperation agreement for the period 2024 – 2027

With the program "Connecting the community - Spreading knowledge - Sustainable action", UEH has connected with domestic and foreign businesses and partners, and achieved impressive results such as: more than 600 businesses have welcomed more than 3,600 UEH students to participate in Internship/Business Semester programs; more than 7,100 students participated in career orientation and soft skills training; more than 400 officials and employees of businesses were professionally trained; 66 international and national conferences and thematic reports addressing current issues and contributing to society have been organized; providing more than 6,110 job positions for students; and especially more than 14 billion VND from partners, businesses, organizations and individuals who have contributed to the Giving to UEH Program to carry out meaningful activities for future generations, etc.

The signing of the cooperation agreement for the 2024 - 2027 period with Hoa Sen Group has contributed to further affirming a UEH with a dynamic brand in integration, leading in cooperation, as a prestigious higher education institution that contributes positive values to learners, businesses and society.
