Signing Ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding between University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City and Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation

On September 10, 2024, in Moscow, Russian Federation, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) and the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation (FU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding within the framework of the 5^th Session of the Committee for Cooperation in Education, Science and Technology between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.

The Vietnamese delegation included Mr. Le Xuan Dinh - Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, and Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc - Deputy Minister of Education and Training. Representing University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City were Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh - President of UEH and Dr. Dinh Cong Khai - Vice President of UEH along with representatives of universities and relevant agencies. On behalf of Russian, there were Mr. Konstantin Mogilevsky - Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education and Mr. Andrey Korneev - Deputy Minister of Education, along with representatives from leading scientific and educational organizations of the Russian Federation.

At the meeting, the two sides emphasized that 2024 marks the 10^th anniversary of the signing of the Agreement on Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and Russia in the fields of education, science and technology, with many achievements in the cooperation process. Within the framework of the meeting, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City and the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation agreed and signed a memorandum of understanding with the following contents: cooperation in educational management, exchange of academic information, international student exchange programs, joint research activities, seminars, conferences and other cooperative activities to strengthen the bilateral relationship between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City and the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation has marked an important milestone in the cooperation on education and academic research between the two universities. In the future, UEH and the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation will successfully realize the proposed cooperation activities, not only contributing to creating international educational and research opportunities but also promoting cultural exchange and fostering friendship, further expanding cooperation with universities between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.
