Signing Ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between UEH College of Economics, Law and Government (CELG) and Vietnam Real Estate Association

On the morning of October 31, 2024, the MOU signing ceremony between UEH College of Economics, Law and Government (UEH-CELG) and Vietnam Real Estate Association (VNREEA) took place successfully.

Attending the program, on behalf of UEH, there were Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh - President of UEH, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Khanh Nam - Rector of CELG, Mr. Huynh Thuc Dinh - Deputy Chief of CELG Office, Dr. Huynh Phuoc Nghia - Director of CELG Center for Economics, Law and Government, Dr. Duong Kim The Nguyen - Dean of School of Law, Mr. Bui My Ngoc - Vice Dean of School of Foreign Languages, along with leaders, lecturers and students of CELG. On behalf of Vietnam Real Estate Association (VNREEA), there were Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Khanh - Permanent Vice President and General Secretary, members of VNREEA and representatives of Leaders of Universities, Entrepreneurs, Lecturers, Experts, Managers in the field of real estate business.

Overview of the MOU signing ceremony

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh - President of UEH - expected that the cooperation between CELG, CTELG Center and VNREEA in the future can meet the market's demand for training in the real estate industry. Concurently, he emphasized the practical connection in developing high-quality human resources, connecting human resources, connecting training activities of all levels and systems; short-term training and connecting activities to conduct research in real estate.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Khanh Nam - Rector of CELG - presented an overview of UEH and its Schools, Institutes and Centers. Concurently, he introduced the cooperation capacity in implementing training, research and consulting activities, the similarities in the orientation of internationalization and sustainable development between UEH-CELG and VNREEA. Thereby, expectations for specific and potential cooperation activities in the future were raised.

Speech by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Khanh Nam - Rector of CELG

Representing VNREEA, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Khanh introduced the activities and the goals of VNREEA and the expectations of the high-quality labor market in the real estate industry. Speaking at the program, Ms. Kim Khanh highly appreciated the efforts at UEH in building a standard, quality real estate training program, providing the market with highly specialized human resources for the industry. Remarking on the level of competition in real estate, she mentioned the constantly changing nature of the market and hoped to cooperate with UEH to supplement practical knowledge for students. In the future, the cooperation between VNREEA and CELG will contribute to building specific recruitment processes, training programs closely linked to practice, opening up many opportunities for research cooperation on policies for the Vietnamese real estate industry based on academic and practical foundations by experts.

In the spirit of unity, the representatives of the UEH College of Economics, Law and Government, representatives of the CTELG Center for Economics, Law and Government and the Vietnam Real Estate Association (VNREEA) officially signed the MOU and MOA.

After the signing ceremony, a workshop was held to share with students, lecturers and experts on the topic: "Application of Blockchain in Real Estate Business" which brought many valuable knowledge to the participants, with the following contents:

•   Speaker Phan Hong Quan - Head of Membership Development Board of Vietnam Blockchain Association (VBA) - presented an overview of tokenization of real assets (RWA) through applied research from international companies, presenting development opportunities in Vietnam.
•   Dr. Nguyen Luu Bao Doan - Head of Department & Director of Real Estate Program, UEH, Vice President of VNREEA - presented the opportunities and the challenges of Blockchain for the real estate market in the world and in Vietnam. Specifically, the application of Blockchain technology in land management activities of governmental agencies and real estate businesses.
•   Lawyer Ngo Viet Bac - Head of Saigon Tay Nguyen Law Office - presented one research on investment activities in real estate value subdivision in Vietnam.
