On August 24, 2021, the School of International Business - Marketing of University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), in collaboration with National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) of Taiwan and Technical University of Darmstadt (TUDa) of Germany, successfully organized the “2021 NCKU-TUDa-UEH Digital Business Workshop”. Towards international cooperation, increasing knowledge and experience exchange with international partners to accelerate the learning process, reaching out to the world market is one of the key goals of the School of International Business - Marketing in particular and University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City in general.
Facing the complicated situation of the Covid-19 pandemic, UEH's international cooperation and association tasks are still carried out as planned, based on digital technology platforms.
The program “2021 NCKU – TUDA – UEH DIGITAL BUSINESS WORKSHOP” within the international cooperation framework of the School of International Business – Marketing with two partners, National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) and Technical University of Darmstadt (TUDa), successfully attracted 7 countries to register, 167 members participated directly on Webex and broadcast online on NCKU's media platform with 400 views at the time of the Workshop.

On the side of the School of International Business - Marketing, there was the participation of Assoc. Prof. Bui Thanh Trang - Dean, Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Thu – Vice Dean, Dr. Hoang Cuu Long - Vice Dean, lecturers and students of the School. On the side of NCKU, there was the participation of Dr. Ngo Thi Minh Hien - Director of NCKU Vietnam Hub, Representative of NCKU Malaysia Hub, Prof. Wang Wei-Tsong with NCKU faculty members. Finally, on the side of the Technical University of Darmstadt, there was the participation of Prof. Volker Nitsch.
The speakers shared about the research and application of digital transformation in economy and business in the current period in the program,. Prof. Nitsch offered an in-depth look at digital transformation in the economic field, from the costs faced by businesses to the organizational structure.

After the important presentation of Prof. Volker Nitsch, Dr. Do Thi Hai Ninh - Lecturer of the School of International Business - Marketing UEH shared about the current situation of digital transformation in enterprises in Vietnam in recent years. She also provided a practical perspective on the stages that businesses need to take for successful digital transformation, as well as the barriers that businesses are facing.

Besides, the sharing of Prof. Wang Wei-Tsong also provided another perspective on digital transformation and showed guidance and solutions for businesses when implementing digital transformation in the current situation.

The discussion part of the program received much attention from researchers, lecturers and students from 7 countries. Many questions were sent to the speakers from the online platform and the academics participating in the program, from “identifying digital transformation challenges that businesses face during this pandemic period", to "will e-commerce completely replace the traditional business method?"...
With the interest and enthusiastic participation of lecturers, researchers, and students, the workshop ended successfully, opened up opportunities for cooperation to carry out researches on the development of digital conversion.
